These days whether we’re a believer of the supernatural, especially ghosts, it’s always fun to watch movies or just reading about someone being haunted or being possessed by one. Almost every where we turn we hear about ghost, someone has a story of their own experience to share or there’s a haunted house down the road that we must stare at every time we go past it. Clive Kristen has wrote a short book from horrible events that would leave these spirits behind for one reason or another, theses events takes place in the UK from Halifax and Huddersfield. Some of these Ghost acknowledgement are from archives, historic and other events are based on local information.
As I noticed right away the cover to me didn’t didn’t seem to relate as the title, it’s suppose to be about ghosts, it appeared to me the figures on the cover looked more Iike zombies. I would recommend to redo the cover for a better Ghost effect so there’s no mistake between the title and the material. There’s a small simple map at the bottom of the Trail pages to help guide you in the direction of the trail you want to visit. Some stories are extremely short a little more than a few sentences, others are a page or more. There were a few I was confused, I didn’t fully understand for example “The Master of Alabaster” I don’t understand why it was considered a haunting. As like “ St. Mary of the Rocks”, there’s a nice history lesson of Roche Abbey and the Black Death took a lot of lives there were no haunting. So maybe instead of the title “Local Ghost Trails” it should be changed or added to “and Events”.
Even though there are some places a Ghost sight sightseer cannot actually visit because of personal property and one must respect their privacy. There are plenty of places that Clive Kristen has mentioned in this Ghost haunting, trail blazing tales of the untested souls that can’t find peace, they remain forever haunting their last troubled spot that will haunt them for eternity.
