First - the writing in this book is very well done - it makes the atmosphere and emotions all the more intense as you read. Aaron is not all human - and this means he doesn't fit in. However, he is tasked as part of an elite group to protect humans. The graphic description of all the creatures and the world only add to the depth of this story. The writing is graphic in just the right amount to pull the reader into the story.

I would like to see more of this world and these characters.
