This is the expanded version of the successful Android Application Development - Setup, Startup, Resources guide. This text expand on the first volume by providing more examples to get you developing for Android. If you purchase other books, you will spend HOURS reading material that will not only waste your time, but also may make you feel overwhelmed and disenfranchise you from pursuing Android Application Development. I too started off in the same place where you are and the first few “best sellers” I read were full of words but lacked substance. Because of this horrible starting process, my application development was impeded. I wrote this book to get you developing as soon as possible while still understanding what you are doing. I wanted a resource that was complete but not overwhelming. I have tried to apply my seven years of teaching in higher education to good use by outlining a clear path for the success of your Android application. As a new Android Application Developer, you are my greatest asset as well as the Android developer community. Regardless of your background, the book should help you achieve success. I have included many things to AVOID, that often throw people off later down the road (like getting your own URL ASAP).
