Think It's A Game 2

Rate this book
THIS IS A RE-RELEASE!

In this war between the cold and callous, the stake is a little higher than just money, power, and respect. Boston and Kamden were once a team and knew one another’s weaknesses. As a result, the men waste no time destroying everything the other has built and any casualties along the way.

Boston and his henchmen think it’s a game, but Kam is never one to underestimate his opponent. He knows that his father’s reach and resources aren’t limited. The only thing more solid than his dad’s team of hitters is Kam’s heart.

‘Killa Kam’ will stop at nothing to fulfill the promises he’s made. It doesn’t matter if that means taking a life, or losing his.

Yall make these women so stupid it is painful. They do not think. Why would Ry deliver herself to Boston after learning he set up and tried to kill his own son. If she married him to save her father and to clear his debt and he still forced her dad to pay him, that showed he is an evil man and would still do what he threatened to do, he never intended to keep his word. So why would she believe going to him would change anything he said, he told her come to him or he will kill his kids, he still gonna try to do it either way. The man literally tried to kill his child. Her decision made no sense.

Given how spineless she acted, I almost wished he had finished her because I cannot stand weak FMCs. What made it worse is how off Boston’s behavior was. The author built him up as this ruthless monster, but then suddenly held back when it came to Ry. A man like that would have taken what he wanted and punished her, not give her mercy. Not that I wanted it to happen, but if you create an evil villain, commit to the evil villain. Do not write him as heartless and then turn soft only when the plot needs him to.

Nothing aligned with how he was set up. This is someone who is heartless, yet Ry can go to him twice and somehow live considering how angry he was. If you are going to make him evil, make him evil. If not, choose another storyline because the character build did not match the character’s actions.

Then Brooke telling the man she is dating all her business with Zeke was ridiculous. Who does that.

I knew I was going to DNF the moment Ry willingly went into danger like a fool. I kept going though, got to page 82, saw there were 226 pages total, and tapped out. Absolutely not. This book is bad. I read Xan and Xay’s books first and wanted to know Zeke’s story. I no longer care. I’m good.

Love a happy Ending!!!

I love a happy ending, and I’m so glad Zeke finally got it together and that Brooke was open to giving him a real chance. Honestly, for a while I wanted her with someone else because he was doing the absolute most and really playing with her feelings. King, on the other hand, was always solid, even while carrying the weight with his father and I’m glad he handled him accordingly. It definitely took a toll on him mentally, but he still pushed through. I loved the mix of drama and love in this book. It was definitely a great conclusion to part one!

🥰🥹

The way King loved Ry down was EVERYTHING! That man didn’t play with a soul about her. I would to see them (Zeke & Brooke too) as parents. I just know they’d be losing their minds if they had daughters 😂
