Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an average law-abiding citizen, so far in debt that you'd consider pulling a bank robbery? That's the dilemma of two Upper Michigan heros in "Cold Cash," a wacky, fast-moving adventure novel by Jerry Harju. But not to worry, they've planned the perfect heist. Knock over the bank during a snowstorm and get away on snowmobiles. Well, maybe it wasn't quite the perfect heist. There are a few complications, not the least of which are two women.
This was ok, but after reading Northern D'Lights before this one, I was disappointed. Norther D'Lights was burst out loud funny and this one just didn't have the same humor. Short vignettes are more Harju's forte. I'll keep going back for more of those.
