About the author

Started off in a small town of Etah, Uttar Pradesh of India. From childhood dreams to finally being published, my journey has been fueled by an unwavering love for storytelling. I've always been captivated by the worlds we create in our minds, and since my early school days, I knew I wanted to share those worlds with others. My first attempt in second grade may not have been a masterpiece (to put it mildly!), but it ignited a spark that has never faded.

I've tried and failed countless times, filling notebooks with stories that never saw the light of day. It wasn't until 2019, when the concept for the Agni series came to me, that I truly dedicated myself to the craft. Five years of balancing writing with other commitments have culminated into this epic saga, a project close to my heart.

Beyond writing, I also explore the worlds of generative music and songwriting, sharing my creations on my YouTube channel. My passions range from space operas to romance and mystery, a testament to the eclectic mix of genres that have shaped my own writing. Growing up in India, I devoured comics, and the absence of a relatable superhero inspired me to create characters who are complex, flawed, and ultimately human, appealing to readers of all ages.

Through my stories, I hope to reignite the magic of storytelling, reminding us that even in the face of countless setbacks, the dreams we hold dear are worth fighting for.

"Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos." "Deranged Chaos" finishes the trilogy. The universe is thrown onto the brink of annihilation. It's a fantasy epic, moves fast. Surya has godlike power now; he is a force of destruction. But he still keeps his human anger and that dark humor.

The narrative blends epic battles across various settings with moments of twisted levity, particularly in his chaotic interactions with Varaha, the boar avatar. The book explores the complex cost of absolute power and vengeance. While brutal and bizarre, this finale provides a thoughtful climax to the dark science-fantasy journey.

This isn't your typical sci-fi saga about just "interstellar empires or cosmic battles"; it’s a profound psychological landscape where you truly feel the echoes of pain across time and space. The way the narrative delves into the "shattering of the spirit" that "carves an abyss within" is just brilliant, leaving you to wander among "the echoes of lost selves". You're constantly confronted with the moral ambiguities that plague every character, making you question where the lines between right and wrong, between "hero and villain," truly blur. It’s a testament to the unyielding strength of the human spirit tested to its breaking point, revealing resilience even in the face of overwhelming darkness.
The book fearlessly dives into themes of grief, vengeance, and the intense, complex nature of justice, showing how these powerful emotions can twist and reshape souls. You'll witness characters grappling with deep wounds, where their bonds of love are stretched to their limits and twisted by the horrors of conflict. The sheer, consuming madness and "creativity in cruelty" that some exhibit, fueled by profound loss, makes for truly unsettling, yet utterly compelling, reading. There are moments of "raw, amplified agony" that resonate deeply, and the relentless cycle of violence is explored with unflinching honesty. Chitransh is a master at portraying fractured minds and the desperate struggle to reclaim a shattered soul. This is a book that will shatter your heart, test your beliefs, and leave you forever changed. It's more than just a story; it's an experience that stays with you long after the final page. You absolutely must read it!

There are books that end stories, and then there are books like this, which burn them into your soul. The final chapter of the author’s mind-bending trilogy isn’t just a conclusion; it’s a cosmic implosion of everything you thought you knew about pain, power, and sanity.

From the very first page, you’re hurled into a universe teetering between godhood and ruin. Surya, now consumed by a terrifying divinity, spirals through madness that feels both poetic and punishing. His encounters, especially the chaotic, darkly humorous exchanges with the boar avatar Varaha, are nothing short of legendary. Beneath the blood, battles, and celestial destruction, the author threads piercing reflections on vengeance, morality, and the price of survival.

What makes this book truly unforgettable is its emotional ferocity. Every scene crackles with tension, from the ashen streets of dying worlds to the eerie laboratories of the N.G.I. program. You don’t just read Surya’s torment; you feel it clawing under your skin. His evolution from a fractured man into a godlike force is as horrifying as it is awe-inspiring.

The author’s prose is raw, cinematic, and unrelenting - blending myth, horror, and science fiction into a narrative that challenges your sanity as much as Surya’s. This book doesn’t merely question what justice or divinity means; it shatters both and makes you sift through the debris.

This book is not a mere finale; it’s an odyssey through grief, madness, and transcendence - brutal, mesmerizing, and disturbingly beautiful. When you turn the last page, don’t be surprised if silence feels a little louder than before.

When I finished Deranged Chaos, I just sat there for a while, staring into space, trying to process what I had just read. This book doesn’t just end a trilogy — it detonates it. I went in expecting dark fantasy, but what I got was a cosmic descent into madness, pain, and godhood. The writing is sharp, brutal, and unrelenting, and there were moments where I genuinely had to pause and breathe.

I felt every ounce of Surya’s torment — the rage, the confusion, and the terrifying clarity that comes when a broken man becomes something more than human. The world-world-building blew me away — from the smoky chaos of Meerut’s highways to the eerie silence of Titan’s plains, everything felt alive, burning, or dying. Dr. Mitra, Afroz, and the whole NGI subplot gave me chills; it’s horrifying how believable their brand of “science” felt.

What struck me most was how the story forces us to question morality, vengeance, and what it means to be “good” when gods themselves are corrupt. It’s violent, yes — apocalyptic even — but it’s also disturbingly philosophical. I can’t remember the last time book made me this uncomfortable and this fascinated at once.

By the final chapters, I wasn’t sure if I was rooting for Surya or just watching the inevitable collapse of sanity. And maybe that’s the point.

What I loved:

The raw, cinematic writing and psychological intensity.

The blend of mythology, science fiction, and horror — pure chaos.

The ending… haunting, tragic, and unforgettable.

Book Review: Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos by Ashwin Chitransh
This book, Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos, is the third part of the Surya - Echoes of Bhu Series. If you've enjoyed the first two books, this one continues the exciting story with a lot of action and new challenges for the main character, Surya.

The story mixes old Indian mythology with a new, science-fiction world. The hero, Surya, is facing a very difficult time. The "Deranged Chaos" in the title is not just a name; it's a real and powerful problem that puts everyone and everything in danger. Surya has to find new powers and friends to fight this huge threat. The book is full of fast-paced events, and it feels like the adventure never stops. The author, Ashwin Chitransh, does a good job of showing how Surya grows from a confused boy into a true leader.

One of the best parts of the book is how the author connects the past and the future. He uses stories and ideas from ancient times and puts them into a modern, futuristic setting. This makes the world feel unique and interesting. The characters are well-written, and you really care about what happens to them. The book is a great mix of big battles and the personal feelings of the characters.

Overall, if you like fantasy and science fiction, or if you have been following the Surya series, this book is a great read. It's a thrilling journey and a strong third part of the story.

Ashwin Chitransh closes his trilogy with a finale that feels less like a conclusion and more like an apocalypse set to detonate. Deranged Chaos hurls Surya, now a divinity armed with cosmic fury and a twisted sense of humor, into a galaxy-wide war that veers between terrifying brutality and absurd comedy. One moment he’s tearing through enemies with godlike violence; the next, he’s arguing with Varaha, his irreverent boar companion, over something as trivial as the best milkshake flavor.
The result is a book that shocks, unsettles, and entertains all at once. It’s relentless in its depictions of trauma and vengeance, yet laced with a brand of dark humor that undercuts despair with uncomfortable laughter. Chitransh manages a rare balancing act melding apocalyptic spectacle, existential collapse, and biting absurdity without ever losing momentum.
Deranged Chaos is not just the end of Surya’s journey, it’s a finale that scorches itself into memory, ensuring its antihero remains one of the wildest, most unpredictable figures in speculative fiction today.

I'm still reeling from the Surya Origins trilogy, especially the final installment, Deranged Chaos. Ashwin Chitransh has created a character in Surya that's both terrifying and mesmerizing - a godlike figure with a twisted sense of humor that had me laughing and cringing in equal measure.

This series is a wild ride, veering from brutal violence to ridiculous humor without warning. Chitransh's writing is unflinching, throwing us into Surya's world of trauma, revenge, and the costs of power. Surya himself is a complex, contradictory figure - scary, lovable, and often both at the same time.

What I appreciate most about this series is its willingness to explore the darker corners of the human psyche. It's a cosmic comedy that's both action-packed and thought-provoking, with themes that linger long after the book is finished.

If you're up for a challenge, and don't mind questioning your ethics and sanity, then this trilogy is for you. Just be warned: Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos is not for the faint of heart. Buckle up, because this ride is unforgettable.

Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos by Ashwin Chitransh is an apocalyptic conclusion that doesn’t just end a saga, it detonates it. Surya, now a god with a taste for cosmic destruction and manic humor, blazes through a galaxy-spanning conflict that’s equal parts horrifying and absurd. Whether he’s locked in brutal battles, unraveling devastating truths, or bickering about artisanal milkshakes with his boar companion Varaha, the blend of violence and black comedy is unlike anything else in sci-fi fantasy.

The book is unapologetically intense, graphic, emotionally shattering, and laced with disturbing humor that makes you laugh one second and wince the next. Chitransh masterfully balances the bleakness of revenge, trauma, and moral collapse with absurdist banter and cosmic-scale spectacle. It’s a finale that leaves no one unscarred and cements Surya as one of the most chaotically memorable antiheroes in recent fiction.

This one hits like a wrecking ball to the ribs—loud, shocking, and disturbingly precise.
“Deranged Chaos” turns violence into percussion: snap, crack, shatter, silence. The set pieces are relentless and tactile—glass in your hair, grit in your mouth, heartbeat in your ears—but the true terror is control. The author stages carnage with a conductor’s hand, letting dread spool tight before dropping you into scenes that feel sickeningly inevitable. I loved the contrasts: wild, feral collisions cut with eerie stillness; grotesque humor flickering at the edges of horror; intimate harm framed against colossal stakes. It’s brutal without being gratuitous, graphic without losing humanity, and it understands that impact isn’t just about blood—it’s about the moment right after, when breath won’t come. If you’re looking for a high-octane read where every blow tells the truth about the person throwing it, “Deranged Chaos” is an easy, emphatic five-star recommendation.

The finale of the series where the world is the stage for a storm of fate and catastrophe as ancient powers rise to the surface, breaking the thin peace between the mortal and divine.
In this gripping narrative you are pulled into a world which is a stage for cosmic secrets, blood stained betrayals, and the like which is beyond your imagination. Each chapter brings more chaos, weaves in intrigue with high stake battles that will have you on the edge of your seat.
The twists don’t let up and the war between order and madness is a thunderous experience. Myths mix with heart pounding suspense in what is a can’t miss ride for action and mystery fans and those that love to see the divine fall apart.
Get ready this isn’t just a story, it is an immersion into chaos you won’t want to get out of.
A must read for fans of mythic adventures and epic sagas

They don’t meet so much as ignite.
“Deranged Chaos” makes Surya and Nikita the metronome of mayhem—every shift in their distance changes the room’s pressure. Surya moves like a plan; Nikita moves like a possibility, and the friction between the two turns even quiet scenes into countdowns. What stands out is how the book layers opposites: grit and grace, caution and audacity, tenderness and teeth. Their push-pull never feels performative; it’s grounded in perfectly observed beats of respect, rivalry, and something unnamed that keeps catching light. The humor is dry, the heat is real, and the emotional afterglow lingers like smoke on fabric. No grand speeches—just two people revealing themselves in the way they listen, challenge, and refuse to look away. It’s precise, intoxicating character work, and it makes the chaos feel necessary. Five stars without hesitation.

I snorted, then stared into the void asking, “Am I okay?”
“Deranged Chaos” turns disaster into a setup and your nervous system into the punchline. The humor is jet-black and beautifully timed—blink-and-you-miss-it asides, grim reversals, and bleak visual gags sketched in a sentence. Mayhem becomes the straight man; the world is so unhinged that the truest observation is the funniest one. I loved how the jokes don’t soften the blows—they tighten them—making each laugh feel like a guilty secret shared with the author. The result is exhilarating and a little disquieting: a page-turner where wit and wreckage keep perfect rhythm. By the end, I was cackling, wincing, and low-key evaluating my mental health. For readers who crave audacity, timing, and laughter with teeth, this is a five-star triumph.

Deranged Chaos, the vicious conclusion to the Surya Origins trilogy, is a delirious potpourri of cosmic conflict, abominable humor, and raw psychological profundity. Surya is lost in and deranged into divine madness; his wit, thought to be so warped it could hardly be defined-unforgettable comedic banter with the massive boar avatar Varaha is stuff of deranged legends. The book somehow genuinely balances battles while meditating on trauma, revenge, and truth and somehow naming madness and inviting readers to chuckle at the absence of rationality in it, all in the meanwhile checking his or her own sanity. Brutal, bizarre, and brilliant, it is a fitting climax for what has been a genuinely deranged and brilliant dark science-fantasy journey.

From the first page, Deranged Chaos throws you into a universe on the brink of annihilation. Surya, now fused with godlike power, is a force of unstoppable destruction—but he’s also deeply human in his anger, grief, and dark humor. The story sweeps across frozen moons, sacred cities, and burning empires, blending epic battles with moments of twisted levity, especially in his chaotic interactions with Varaha.

What makes this book stand out is how it explores the cost of absolute power and vengeance. Every revelation cuts deep, every fight is both dazzling and horrifying, and by the end, you’re left shaken, thrilled, and thinking long after the final page. For fans of grimdark fantasy and cosmic thrillers, this finale is brutal, bold, and unforgettable.

“Deranged Chaos” is a wild and unforgettable finale to the Surya Origins saga. The story is dark, intense, and full of jaw-dropping twists. Watching Surya grow from someone broken by trauma into something almost god-like is both chilling and fascinating. The side characters are just as layered, with plenty of morally gray choices that keep you guessing. The world feels huge and alive, mixing mythology with cosmic horror in a way that really pulls you in. The writing is raw and emotional, making it easy to get completely absorbed. If you enjoy cosmic horror this series is an absolute must-read. Get ready for a ride that will leave you breathless and questioning what justice and morality really mean.

It’s pure adrenaline, but the hands on the wheel never slip.
“Deranged Chaos” delivers sustained mayhem with a conductor’s timing: build, break, breathe, repeat. Set pieces are tactile and terrifying, yet cause and effect stays crystal clear, so every choice lands with moral weight. What really sings is the duet between resolve and doubt—competence that still sweats, humor that sparks at the edge of panic, and compassion that keeps showing up after the smoke thins. Surya leads like triage in motion; Nikita challenges and refines until the plan rings true. No plot armor, no winks—just intelligence, accountability, and heart under impossible pressure. I finished wired, winded, and in awe. Five stars, emphatically.

Deranged Chaos provides a suitably apocalyptic conclusion to the Surya Origins trilogy. It’s a violent blend of action, dark psychology, and dark cosmic comedy. Surya falling into divine insanity isn’t just creepy, it’s strangely funny — his relationship with Varaha isn’t quite what you expect it to be. If it seems like more than a war between galaxies, it’s because it is: it goes to some dark places on trauma, revenge, and what truth is going to cost you. Dark sci-fi-fantasy fans who can gaze into the abyss and chuckle should give it a read, but don’t bother skipping the initial couple of novels — it’s all worthwhile in the end.

Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos doesn’t just end the trilogy—it detonates it. Surya, now a god armed with powers he can barely control, tears through galaxies, facing enemies as twisted as he is, while dark, shocking truths from his past come crashing down. Between apocalyptic battles and grotesquely hilarious moments with his boar companion Varaha, the book keeps you laughing one second and gasping the next.

This finale is raw, brutal, and unforgettable. Trauma, vengeance, and moral collapse collide with cosmic chaos in a story that will leave you reeling, questioning sanity, and unable to forget Surya—or the havoc he leaves behind.

What have I just read?! This book shook me. It's disturbing, anarchic, and hilariously funny in the most sickening manner imaginable. Surya is a complete and utter menace – his warped sense of humor had me chuckling along and then instantly questioning my morals. His exchange with a giant pig over milkshakes?? ICONIC. The violence is savage, the plot is cosmic in scope, and the emotional scarring is real. I've never cheered for a godlike madman this enthusiastically. If you enjoy your fiction wild, dark, and unforgettable — go read this now.

"Surya Origins: Deranged Chaos" by Ashwin Chitransh is a high-octane fantasy epic that plunges readers into a world teetering on the brink. From its striking cover art to its relentless pacing, this book promises a wild ride and delivers. Chitransh crafts a universe that is both brutal and beautiful, filled with powerful characters and chaotic conflicts. The protagonist's journey is a thrilling descent into a world of raw power and unpredictable events, keeping you on the edge of your seat with every turn of the page.

While the "Deranged Chaos" in the title is an accurate descriptor for the plot's frenetic energy, the author maintains a clear narrative voice that prevents the story from becoming truly unreadable. Fans of dark fantasy and non-stop action will find this book an unputdownable experience. It's a fresh take on the genre, blending ancient archetypes with a futuristic twist. The ending will leave you desperate for the next installment.

Title: Deranged Chaos — Beyond Capes: Triage & Truth
★★★★★

When everything breaks, spectacle breaks first.
Here, heroism is triage under pressure—priorities, tradeoffs, accountability. Surya’s leadership is competence with a conscience; Nikita is the uncompromising audit that keeps it honest. The world reacts like a real system—tech fails, politics interfere, people falter—and that realism is thrilling. No deus ex, no plot armor, just courage measured in decisions. It surpasses the usual superhero playbook by respecting cause and effect. Five unwavering stars.

The timing is criminally good—and a little worrying.
Jokes slip in at the worst possible second, like your nervous system pranking you. It doesn’t trivialize the horror; it spotlights it, the way absurdity blooms in catastrophe. Surya’s deadpan, Nikita’s flinty grace, and the cast’s survival wit make the world feel painfully real. The book earns every laugh and every lump in the throat. It’s audacious, humane, and wildly entertaining. Five stars, no doubt.

They don’t meet—they ignite.
Surya’s steady burn and Nikita’s quicksilver strike a volatile balance that powers the book. Their respect is prickly, their rivalry honest, and their pull undeniable. The tension lives in microbeats—who yields, who notices, who won’t look away—and the story trusts you to feel it. Fights bruise, silence bruises deeper, and the rare humor lands like a dare. It’s character work with teeth and tenderness. Five stars, happily.

First off all, i would like to say the title says it all. It felt like stepping into complete madness, but in the best possible way. If the first book was about survival and the second about the poisonous effects of power, this one threw me into pure chaos.
I could feel the story getting darker, heavier, and more unpredictable. The world feels unstable, and so do the characters. Surya doesn’t feel like the same person anymore, and his choices here are messy, desperate, and at times, terrifying. Sometimes I wanted to yell at him, sometimes I just felt sorry, and other times I was almost afraid of what he might do next. That unpredictability is what really kept me hooked.
It showed people breaking down, turning desperate, and losing themselves to madness. It made me think about how thin the line really is between holding it together and falling apart.
By the end, I felt exhausted but in a good way, like I had been through the storm with the characters. This book isn’t easy to read, but if you want a gripping, unflinching read, pick this one up.

When everything breaks, the old superhero model breaks first.
“Deranged Chaos” proves a hero isn’t defined by a punchline or a power set but by decision-making under pressure. Surya leads like an engineer in a storm: triage, clarity, limited resources, human stakes. The mayhem is thrilling, but the book’s genius is causality—actions ripple through tech, politics, and people with unnerving realism. That’s where it surpasses Marvel/DC: no magical reset, no glossy invulnerability—only choices that shape tomorrow. Nikita is the perfect counterweight—skeptical, incisive, and emotionally exact—turning every plan into a dialogue about purpose and price. Even at full throttle, the narrative honors quiet accountability: debriefs, recalculations, and the courage to change approach. It’s a superhero story that respects intelligence without losing heart, finding grandeur not in the size of the blast but in the integrity of the response. Unequivocal five stars.
