Hope's world is about to change again.

Fifteen years ago, Hope Butler's world turned upside down when she became her sister Maeve's guardian. She gave up her dream of owning her own bakery and settled for working at the local bakery, The Floured Apron.

Pastry chef Brodie Duncan is spending the summer working in Lockhart Falls and has been annoying Hope with his intrusive presence. So when The Floured Apron is put up for sale, and Maeve enters them into The Big-Bake-Off, a reality baking show, the competition brings them together, and they discover they have more in common than they first thought.

Then Brodie reveals the real reason he's in Lockhart Falls and Hope vows to help him get to the bottom of his mysterious secret, which may make or break him.
Hope needs to win so that she can buy The Floured Apron and make her lifelong dream come true, but first she needs to let go of her expectations for herself' and see herself through everyone else's eyes.

The stakes are high, from cakes to cookies, pastries to pies and a chance to fall in love. It all culminates in a showstopper ending.

Luna did it again - gave me all the good feels and the cravings for all things sweet and yummy!
A total feel-good Hallmark movie happy read with a sweet and tender love story, developing in the midst of a baking show!
We have Brody with a delicious Scottish accent, a gentle heart and he can bake, sing and play guitar to boot. He's just what Hope needs, being used to putting everyone else's wellbeing before her own, raising her little sister after the tragic death of their parents.
A sweet, tender and punny love story set in Lockhart Falls, just the cosy read you need for the holiday season.

This was such a great concept for a book!
I loved the Great British Bake-off vibe that runs through the story, it was very entertaining and engaging following the ups and downs of all the contestants/characters.
Hope is such an inspirational character, she gave up so much to raise her little sister, you can’t help but love her!
Brodie has arrived at Lockhart Falls with a challenge of his own - to find his father. Connecting with Hope on the cooking competition gives him an opportunity to make friends and connections in the area.
I thought the cooking scenes were all well written, you felt like you were there witnessing the competition first hand.
I loved the slow burn romance too, seeing two
kind and thoughtful characters coming together.
Such a fun story that was packed with fantastic characters and delicious cooking - be warned you will crave baked goods throughout your reading!
Sweet and adorable - this book was utterly scrumptious 😋

Loved it!

Baking Me Crazy is Book 3 in the Lockhart Falls series and is my favourite book in this series!

When Mauve, Hope's sister enters her and the new visitor to Lockhart Falls, Brodie into a baking competition - sparks fly - in the best way!

The plot thickens when Hope finds out Brodie's real reason for visiting Lockhart Falls.

I absolutely adored the chemistry between Brodie and Hope and enjoyed how their relationship unfolded naturally. I didn't want this story to end and savoured every page hoping that it would last just a moment longer.

Absolutely loved how the puns were punning :)

This book feels real and beautifully warm.

I loved the wide range of personality amongst the characters and really appreciated the way in which our main characters showed they loved each other. it was thoughtful and multifaceted. I was thinking about them even when I'd put the book down.

The baking competition central to the story added a fun dimension. I felt like I was right there as a reader.

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a slow-burn closed-door small town romance with something a little different about it.

Hayes has provided yet another Lockhart series love story but with an additional sweet twist because what pairs better then romance and a bake off?!
I dived in and Hayes delivered her signature style of all the emotions of an HEA between two covers.

Highly recommend
