A nicely Christmas-y collection of short selections pertaining to the season: Bible verses, book excerpts, poems, etc. Most of these tidbits are quite short, which in some ways is nice because I could just pick it up and read a couple of selections anytime I had a few minutes to spare. On some of the selections, I wanted to know more about where they came from (personal letters? full-length novels?) but the book is full of the Christmas spirit, and while there weren't *too* many excerpts that became instant favorites of mine, overall it was a really good book for the season (and there *were* a few selections that quite enchanted me.)
