The assassination of john F Kennedy by Patricia Stockland is about President Kennedy. In the autobiography it talks about the history of Kenney's life and how it made him who he is today. John F Kennedys destiny was made for him from the day he was born because he was born a Kennedy which means that he was a well known person in the United States. His family was one of the wealthiest and most powerful families there was. Many people loved President Kennedy because he was young smart and very handsome too. John F Kennedy was assaninated which measn he was killed by a bad man named Lee Oswald.. This book talks about what happend to Oswald and his punishment and how the whole country reacted to losing the president who they loved a lot.

I gave this book four stars. One thing I loved about it was learning all the things Kennedy did during and before his presidency. This story is interesting because its a unique situation since most presidents don't get killed but JFK got killed. I also liked learning about how much people loved president Kennedy he was a great man. One thing I didn't love about the story was that it was written like a history textbook with mostly facts and it started getting boring with all the facts.

I would recommend this book to my peers, both girls and boys. I think high schoolers would like this book bacuse it's sort of like a mystery because the detective is trying to figure out why Oswald killed president Kennedy. I would recommend it to people that like learning about history. Also anybody who is interested in learning about president Kennedy. It would be good for people high school age or older. It might be fine for eighth graders as long as they are mature. I do not think it would be good for anyone younger than eighth grade because it is about a murder and it might scare the little kids and get them thinking about bad guys and killings.
