Cinnamon and Sunshine

Rate this book
Lexi Alamont’s been looking for love for years. But living in the small town of Sage Springs, Missouri, means the search has not been fruitful. Sure, there are ghosts galore in town, but the selection of living men isn’t anything to write home about. She’s happily watched her two best friends meet their matches, and she can’t help but think that maybe she’ll have her chance before long. When Cruz Drakov comes back into town to do some work for his paranormal TV show, Lexi’s called in to sweeten up the crew with her baked goods. With her growing business being praised from the mouths of celebrities, Lexi’s happy to oblige. What she isn’t expecting is to gain the attention of the guy who’s everything she’s shied away from. Cruz is a self-assured witch, a realist, and not afraid to play the field with his charismatic demeanor. Lexi’s optimistic, sweet, and looking for the one who will make her heart whole. Sometimes love is hiding in places you’d least expect. Just ask Lexi and Cruz. Cinnamon & Sunshine is the perfect conclusion to a magical series about three best friends searching for who they are, and finding love. The edgy and mysterious Cruz stole my heart from the moment he arrived back in Sage Springs (*swoon*). This installment is about Lexi and her search for love, but the reader also gets to see the personalities of their favorite characters from the previous two books as well (Eliza, Ivy, and Aggie). I am trying really hard to make this a “spoiler free” review, but I will tell you that you are in for some surprises! I wasn’t expecting some of the twists and turns the story took. For me, the ending couldn’t have been more perfect. Now I want to start all over and binge read the series from the beginning! 5 amazing stars!

OMGosh! Best Book EVER! Like seriously it is sooooo good. Romantic and funny and emotional, it has everything even a little mystery.
I loved the first 2 books in the series and I was thinking that #2 was my favorite so far but I totally changed my mind with this one, Lexy and Cruz are the best couple ever! They both were great characters, just perfect in every way and I already loved them before but on their story I fell in love with both of them even harder. The story is perfect, not a single boring moment. So many funny moments, I was LOL so hard last night. There is this part where Cruz asks Lexy if she was checking his @ss and it is so funny I am laughing again just thinking about it.
We see a different side to Cruz that I totally loved, he is so different than what we thought of him from book #2 and although I loved him on that book I loved him even more after I got to know this side of him.
I loved that all 3 girls were very much on Lexy's story and that their friendship was as strong as before if not more.
I absolutely loved how the author ended the story and I was very much satisfied and happy. I was very emotional because it was very beautiful too, you might cry if you are as invested in the series as I was.
Perfect conclusion to the series and I really wish there could be more, I am really not ready to say goodbye to Sage Springs, it is a great series!!!
I have to say this series it's my #1 this year.
If you like witches and towns full of friendly ghosts, a story full of love and friendships and even a little mystery then this is the series for you!.

What an awesome ending to a series!! Cinnamon and Sunshine could not have been more perfect!
Eliza, Ivy, & Lexi Lou all have their quirks and lives to live, but they live them together in a beautiful harmony while being true to themselves.
I felt as if I could have known them in real life! The characters feel so real! They have real insecurities, dancing habits, eating habits-LOL, and even with the paranormal feel to the series I felt as if I was there with them. I want to visit Sage Springs.
If you believe in love finding a way through any weather and love to see a HEA, I highly suggest reading this series!!

Advance copy received THANK YOU :-)

I love Cruz, so this is giving me the chills......and guess what.... Yes to be really really cheesy right now, they are multiplying ! The more I read the more I am drooling over him. Damn! He has the tatts see, the bad boy edge and I love that... Ok calm down...

This was all about Lexi the baker, now in her own home and baking sweet treats, with a special gig just for Cruz as he is coming to town to film a special for his paranormal tv show.

I fell straight into this as I have already read books one and two and they were fantastic, so well written with that magical element and full of really great characters that always spill over into each other's stories as they are all friends. We get to see if Lexi gets her chance on love, internet dating, and possibly another kiss with the delectable Cruz? As always in this town, Ghosts pop in. I love this part of it. Sage Springs is a great series.

In this book we are reading Lexi’s story, the previous two books were based on Eliza and Ivy these three best friends have come to that point in life where they want a future with someone. They want love, romance and families of their own. Lexi is ready to settle down and find a love that makes her heart soar. She is ready for that life with a husband and possible children. Her two best friends have found the loves of their lives and now Lexi is ready. The journey of Lexi is one full of adventure, magic, desire and finding that love. This book does not disappoint! Hollie Westring has done it again, grabbed us and held our attention and our affection for this series. These three girls full of magic, friendship and love have captured our hearts. Great book on love and friendship. I highly recommend this series!

This is Lexi and Cruz's story. What a wonderful ending to this great trilogy. Lexi and Cruz shared a kiss at the start of summer on his last night in town, now three months later, Cruz is back in town to film an episode for his paranormal TV show. He and Lexi have been staying in touch thru text messages and calls. She decides that she is going to live in the moment for as long as Cruz is in town but she doesn't count on what happens to her heart. This story has continued all the fun, laughs and magical mystery that the first two have. Loved every minute of reading this.

Lexi's story is full of laughs and tears. Lexi lives in a world where strange and magical things happen, but she's surrounded by family and friends who are there for her through it all.
I didn't think I could love this book more than Spirits and Spells, but this book was perfect. It was the perfect conclusion to the Sage Springs series! This book touches on the lives of characters from the first two books and leaves you feeling warm and whole in the end.

I will be very honest and say I have loved this series from the beginning. It is one I do reread.
I don't want to break away from the magical town of Sage Springs.
There is mystery and romance and plain old fun and good times in this series and in this place.
Hollie Westring has written characters that come to life and find their ways into the reader's heart.

Lexi is the town's ray of Sunshine. The good girl, who loves her parents and follows the rules.
She was an excellent student and best friend to Eliza, and to Lexi's cousin Jake.
Jake and Eliza had a flirtation in school, before Eliza ran off to travel the world, something Lexi never had any ambition to do. Last spring, Eliza came back and after some misunderstandings, she and Jake are closer than ever, planning a future together. You can learn their story in Whispers & Wishes.

Another best friend was added to their close group, in the form of Ivy, a young witch, their age, who moved to Sage Springs and seemed to fit in perfectly. So well so, that she married a long time Sage Springs resident.
I won't give away Ivy's story. You'll have to read and love it yourself in Spirits & Spells.

Now that her two best friends and close cousin are paired up seemingly for life, Lexi is starting to feel lonely.
Not that she is ever alone, but when will she meet her special someone? No one suitable has come into her life.
She has even turned to online dating.

She is having a text flirtation with a friend of Ivy's, an up and coming TV star who runs a paranormal show that features celebrities. The show is coming to film in Sage Springs. If nothing else, spending time with Cruz will be a distraction. The trouble is, his life means traveling every few weeks. Lexi has just committed to never leaving Sage Springs. They are so different and she would never ask him to give up his dreams.

There is so much sweetness and sunshine in this book, that a dark cloud has to enter. Her name is Bianca.
She is not all bad, but if you want to see her goodness you'd better not blink.

I love this series and hope that the end of the original trilogy will not mean the end of the series.

I was allowed an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and because I just could not wait!
Each of the books in this trilogy has been a 5 star.

What a perfect end to this little trilogy!!

Lexi Alamont’s been looking for love for years. But living in the small town of Sage Springs, Mo., means the search has not been fruitful. Sure, there are ghosts galore in town, but the selection of living men isn’t anything to write home about. She’s happily watched her two best friends meet their matches, and she can’t help but think that maybe she’ll have her chance before long.

Sometimes love is hiding in places you’d least expect. Just ask Lexi and Cruz.

To be honest. I wasn't sure about the thought of Lexi & Cruz.. because they were so different. .but after reading it I have no idea what I was thinking?! They are perfect for each other!!

I love the chemistry between them! I was like whoa! I love how they go back and forth. So cute :)

I was surprised to see Cruz in such a different light! He seems so different from what we saw him in Spirits & Spells. This tough guy just wants to bake some cookies :)

I caught myself smiling reading the texts between Lexi & Cruz and how Lexi thought it was a big secret!

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read this book before it releases January 16th! It would have been hard to wait that long! I finished all three books in a matter of a few days (would've been shorter If I didn't have to go to work).

The Sage Springs series is definitely a set you need to pick up!!
It has romance, humor, & a dash of paranormal..what else could you ask for?

Hollie Westring is definitely an author you need to check out! You won't regret it I promise!!

Loved this book in the series!! I am sad to finish though as I have come to love Sage Springs and its inhabitants. Lexi seems to be looking for love in all the WRONG places. After a string of bad dates, Cruz shows back up in town to shoot his paranormal celebrity ghost show. The kiss they had last summer has stuck with them both. Has what Lexi has been looking for been this close and in front of her this whole time? Knowing Cruz is only going to be there for a few short weeks Lexi decides to make the best of it and try not to let her heart get lost and broken in the process. There are a few twists and turns and, I had a hard time putting it down as I could not wait to see how the story unfolded. Excellent read, great series, awesome characters. I am hoping that maybe there will be an off-shoot to the series. I would like to know more about Bianca, as I think she just wears a tough exterior and really does have a heart inside. Overall I really liked how each book in the series centered around a specific character but that they were all included in the stories.

I thought this was going to be the book I wasn't as thrilled about because Lexi is so positive and truly earned her "Sunshine" nickname appropriately in books 1 and 2. I was WRONG!!!! I LOVED Lexi's story and devoured it in two sittings -- only because work interrupted my reading! To me, Lexi's story was the most complex, as it had many layers we didn't see in books 1 and 2.

It is my understanding this book is the series finale. If that is the case, I think this is a perfect series ender. Lexi's story was original, funny, sexy, and at times very familiar!

I highly recommend reading the entire series in order. I devoured all three books in four days - only because I had to stop to go to work. YES, it is THAT good! I would have loved to have read them back to back with no interruptions!

You know, I have a hard time choosing if I love Ivy or Lexi the most. I really liked learning more from Lexi's point of view and her story. It's a sweet, fun, romantic read that mixes paranormal in there too, and I love that! Would definitely recommend to any reader looking for a relaxing weekend read - just have cupcakes or something in the kitchen because all the dessert/food talk made me want to eat while reading :)

There are VERY few series out there that I would read again. I'm not a fast reader, so if I'm reading something, I want it to be new. HOWEVER, Hollie Westring's Sage Springs series is on of those stories I could very well enjoy again :)

I found myself looking for opportunities to sit down and read because I was dying to know what would happen next!

I love the characters and the town of Sage Springs. It's one of those stories that you wish you could be transported into.

I absolutely adored this magical series by Hollie Westring and Lexi's book was a fantastic ending. These books are all about friendship and learning to love yourself no matter what. Finding a love that complements the best part of you is the completion. I loved Lexi and Cruz. Her peppy outlook and ability to see Cruz for who he is was delightful. I can only hope there is more in store for Sage Springs cuz I didn't want to leave!
