Avoiding Armageddon and Relieving Disasters: A Devotional Guide to the Prophecy Puzzle

Rate this book
Psalm 119:130 says the unfolding of God's words gives light. The unfolding of BIble prophecy gives light for the present moment and for the future. We understand current events and politics and suffering better when we understand Bible prophecy. We can create a contingency plan for ourselves and for the good of others when we understand the trends of our time.

Bible prophecy helps us understand the world we live in and helps us prepare for eternal life. The problem of suffering cannot make sense without the reality of eternal life.

Bible prophecy gives us a window into heaven and also into judgment that sets our eternal destiny, whether for gracious reward or for justice. Good news: Eternity is real. Bad news: We can miss the best destination. We need to search for real answers.

We live in interesting times--times which can throw the weight of the world onto frail human shoulders. Who can help with such a load? We can help one another, but is that enough? How do we make the right choices to provide disaster relief when troubles rain down? The weight of the world calls for infinite help. How do we access infinite help? The Bible has answers.

Bible prophecy is a huge, multi-dimensional puzzle. We must seek and keep on seeking to find the way it all fits together. This book helps with that.

An extremely detailed study of end-time prophecy throughout both the Old Testament and New Testament. The author ties prophecies in the Old Testament in with the prophecies in the New Testament, primarily in Revelation. I completed the book and found it very interesting. I gained a lot of insight into end-time prophecies. It is such a deep subject that I intend to reread the book to learn more. It may take two or three reads to really understand every thing.

This author is my cousin. She did some fantastic research.
