Susanna Mittermaier, therapist, international speaker, international best selling author, radio show host on one of Americas leading radio stations and author of the Pragmatic Psychology- Practical Tools for Being Crazy Happy is creating a new paradigm with psychology and therapy, Pragmatic Psychology.

As a Pragmatic psychologist she is known for her revolutionary perspective on mental illness and for inspiring people all over the world to access the greatness they are beyond abuse and disease.

Susanna grew up in Vienna, Austria. After graduation she moved to Sweden to broaden her horizon. Her quest was to empower people to access their potential and their capacities. As a start she studied at the teachers college and continued with philosophy, linguistic and psychology at the University of Lund, Sweden. After her studies she worked as a psychologist at the University clinic, Lund, at the mental health department with patients with a range of different diagnosis with therapy, counseling and neuropsychological testing.

Soon she discovered that there is a different way of working with patients than she had learned during her education. She started to discover the abilities behind the disabilities. That was the start of Pragmatic Psychology. Susanna has an enormous capacity to facilitate lightness, joy and ease beyond what this reality finds normal. She lets the world know that depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism and every other mental illness is a capacity that has not been acknowledged and can easily be turned into possibilities and creating ones´ life greater than can be imagined. She is now a therapist with years of experience in mental health working with in- and outpatients with all diagnosis.

The success of her book leads to many worldwide travels every month to facilitate classes, private sessions and changing the world. The participants in her classes are people who look for a way to use their difference to work for them and to create their lives and professionals who look for a different way of working with their clients.

Time to employ and enjoy your crazy to create your reality?

What if what is called insanity is the sanity that changes our world?

Honestly I had a hard time with this one. I had an equal amount of curiosity as well as out right resistance to what Susanna was saying in this book. There are some great key points, and many "mindset skills" one can absorb from reading this book. I had to work really hard to keep an open mind while reading. I really didn't enjoy all the leading questions...I skipped paragraphs cause I got tired of that writing style real quick.
