This coming of age story follows a young girl ruby de grey who is uprooted from her old life and moves with her family to the town of primfield. After starting a new school and making new friends strange things start to happen around ruby and to ruby. When she finds out about her elemental abilities and the battles begin along with new friends also come new enemies.
I really enjoyed this book, it has a great story line and kept me turning the pages until the very end. I found the start to be a little dragging but by chapter three things start to move so I recommend you keep reading. Well done
