Matthew Walker appears to be a young man with a normal suburban life - loving parents, a loyal best friend, and a beautiful girl, but a series of dreams begins to reveal a different, deeper truth.
Detective Valerie Mann is assigned a murder case that leads to a violent serial killer, the Postman.
G.W. Shade is a mercenary for Mr. Smith, a mysterious and powerful man whose interest in Matthew and the Postman speak of a much larger and ancient battle.
There is something strange about Matthew. Not just the fact his parents move him from place to place without notice claiming its due to his fathers job relocating him. He doesnt get much time in places to settle in or make any real friends. But what is about to happen will blow all the lies he's been told for as long as he can remember. We're the lies for the good of him or for the bad? Will he ever be told the real reasons behind why he's the way he is?
Although slow to start I enjoyed this book. Compelling storyline that grips you and pulls you in.
I thought that overall this was an okay read. The writing is good, pace is okay. The story starts well, but the different plots within the story did not gel well for me and the story ends rather than resolves.
