After going through the "Professional and Personal Life Balance" piece, I thought it would make a good follow up to dive more into the world of time management. And just as the first one, this little nugget of wisdom did not disappoint.

The topic of time management is nothing new per se, but I find it really hard to find books on this topic that aren't filled with fluff and proprietary frameworks of learning. The industry of personal development is filled with them. However, Lothar Seiwert keeps things short and simple. That is why I love his books so much.

On top of that, expect things to be consistent. If you've heard of a method to cut down on your life roles in some other Seiwert seminar, expect the same frame of mind when thinking about time management here. That makes the process of learning a bit easier because you need that consistency when learning something new.

In regards to the content, I'll give you a small spoiler here and tell you that it's all about Prioritization and Delegation. Get these too covered and time management is no longer a worry. As everything worthy in live though, it's a concept that simple to understand but hard to master. And that is why I encourage you to read not only this, but other books by the same author and really try to go through them with focus and attention. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Enjoy!

Book review of ‘30 minute Time management’
30 Minute Time Management is a small guide book written by Lothar Seiwart. It is provided with different methods for time management. This book helps us to understand key points of time management by shortened into an easily portal small sized book. This book can be read in 30 minutes or less.
I like all the messages about ‘Time’ contain in each chapter. Positives messages are included before the chapter started and at the end of the chapter. This book involves readers to answer sets of questions. Those questions help us to reflect on how we view our time. I help us to whether we are in the state of improvement or in the state needed to be improved. Despite of embarrassment from our flaws, this book helps us to beat our flaws with recommended methods which we can easily understand and implement right away.
There are many of quotes in this book but I like to mention two quotes which states, ‘the time we have is not short but there is a lot of time we wasted by not using it’ and ‘A part of our time has been stolen, the other has been lost and the rest are unknowingly wasted.’
I understand that if we prepare ourselves for work, the work which seems endlessly tiresome turns into a piece of cake. We misunderstood that the work in office means to work as a robot for the company we hated. After I chose reading this book (Thai translated), I realized that working in a system is difficult and hard to keep up but if prepared ourselves with plans and strategies, we wouldn’t mind working for hours in the company.
This book tells us about importance of time, methods of time management, goals, determinations, evaluation of our tasks, transfer and distributes works and discipline. This book mentions different methods of time management, how they were created and why we should follow those methods. It explains different methods like Mind-Map, ALPEN, ABC system and Pareto’s principle which most of us are familiar with 80/20 rule.
I like to recommend this book for beginners’ readers because of its volume and summary given at the end of the book. This book helps you to understand about the subject of time than many people who are both capable and incapable of managing time. I love the feeling of excitements from turning pages as I read like I discovered the secret of time management and values of time. I like to give rating 5 out of 5 stars because just by reading first half portion of the book is enough to enlighten for managing time in a system and raise the efficiency of your efforts’ outcome. Those who are seeking to improve themselves to be productive or to be a golden member of the company you are working at, this book is your answer.
