They made a mistake taking someone I care about. My first nickname wasn't made from the brutal protection and justice for the weak, like The Blood Widow. No. The Boogieman had manifested pure terror in everyone. By taking what's mine, I would bring back the fear my protector mentality had erased in this city. I wouldn't stop until I had their blood covering my body.
If only the three men I loved would let me fall into my rage completely. Things would be easier, but they refused to let me go. Yet, the longer I was away from them, the deeper my darkness rose. I might be lost to the bloodlust.
Can they bring me back?
Or am I doomed to live in the darkness forever?
Our mate ran from us. Didn't she understand we couldn't survive without her at our sides? We would burn the world down if we had to. Nothing would stop us from getting our bloodthirsty mate back.
A fight for control over the city was approaching, and we had to win this battle. So, once we got our girl back, we'd have to gather an army of our own. As long as our mate stood beside us, nothing else mattered. Blood, pain, and death would be foreplay in this game of survival.

Tosha spends most of her days reading and writing. She loves anything fantasy and swears her black cat, Xena, is secretly a shifter. Tosha wants Xena to steal her away from the human world, but she’s playing the slow game. She’ll just have to butter her up by letting her sleep on her chest some more. One day, she’ll get to dance in the dark with real supernaturals. Until then, she’ll keep writing stories about strong women and sexy men with powers.
I was really struggling to read this week but I was still dying to pick this up every chance I had. It took me longer because my brain just was not agreeing with me but the story line was fantastic and kept me coming back like it always does when Tosha writes a story. This is the second book in a duet and you will be confused without the first book. But together the story is so intriguing and beautifully messy you can’t put it down. The way that Tosha always finds a way to make a home for the misfits in her stories is amazing. Even in these fantastical worlds she finds a way for her strong FMCs to make space for forgotten and unloved masses and through this she shows that these same people that most write off as weak are sometimes the strongest characters once they are recognized. This story is bloody, spicy and full of revenge and found family. Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Absolutely loved both books! Beaut was the cherry on top of the craziness. If you're looking for a duet that gives you all the feels, I strongly recommend you buckle up and keep tissues handy 😉
This book was amazing, the author did a fantastic job with this book. It had me wanting more after every chapter ended. The FMC is very strong and does not put up with anyone’s bs.
I loved how this story was both spicy and bloody at the same time. I had to go back and re read the first book as I had read it a long time ago and was confused on what was going on during the second but rereading the first one then coming to read this one made it a pleasant experience. I could not put this book down once I started to read it. I enjoyed getting the chance to read this and I thought this had a great storyline to it.
