I greatly preferred this to the first book in this miniseries, but it’s definitely not as strong as Yarbro’s books. It’s an interesting take on the Robin Hood legend but there are too many unexplained pieces in the plot.

The sherif of Nottingham is looking for allies in his battle with the evil gang of vampires, causing the trouble in the forest of Sherwood!
He gets the help of mother Barnaby and Prince John, but that is not enough. He also needs the help of the old spirits of the forest!
These books are a curious mix of vampires, Robin Hood, fantasy and old legends!
And although sometimes the blood is floating from the pages, this was rather fun to read!
