I have loved this series from the off, so saying goodbye is certainly bittersweet. However, Brogan definitely gives The Portalis Runes Trilogy the send off it deserves with The Wrath of Stellmorior. I was completely engaged from beginning to end. All our favorites were there, including Monroe for his much appreciated comic relief. His scheming is not to be underestimated, however. He is not just a pretty face, as he would say. The character growth of both Aria and Vylnor throughout the series, but especially in this book was apparent and well done. The same goes for Eron, who definitely had some maturing to do, no matter his age. Men, ammirite? I loved how the story unfolded and the little breadcrumbs hidden throughout the series. This is definitely a trilogy I will cherish and read again and again. It is a perfect intersection of Epic High Fantasy upper YA that makes it a series I equally would have devoured as a teen and as an adult.

One of my favorite aspects of The Wrath of Stellmorior was how Aria wasn’t your typical warrior FMC and how she utilized her friends’ strengths where she lacked. No one truly does anything on their own, and I thought it was a great reminder that it’s ok to ask for help and to lean on your loved ones. If you’re looking for a high-stakes, High Fantasy book with plenty of action, heart, humor, great world-building, and intrigue, The Wrath of Stellmorior and the entire Portalis Runes triology is for you!

This was truly an emotional and intense finale to the series. It has been an absolute pleasure to read and see Aria's journey, and all the trials faced, betrayals, losses and victories, and the bonds forged along the way.
It's so easy to get attached to these characters, their bold, loyal, brave, yet still relatable, vulnerable and not afraid to ask for help.
This had so much action, high stakes tense scenes, and works you into a frenzy where you hope everyone makes it out alive.
I loved that Monroe still had his schemes and secrets and the humour he always brings, the continued tension between Vylnor and Eron and how they push each other, and the protectiveness from Aria's grandfather.
I absolutely loved seeing the relationship develop between Vylnor and Aria, the vulnerability they both shared, as well as the passion and care. There were so many swoony moments and I loved seeing Aria's confidence grow, and Vylnor's pride and protection of her.
It was bittersweet learning about their origins and purpose, and seeing how the years of torment had affected Vylnor, but also satisfying to see the choices made and how fate drew them together.
It's a compelling journey of good fighting evil, and allies coming together with a common purpose.

What a series this is 🥹🥹

5 stars for every book in this trilogy, honestly couldn’t fault it. I’ve read other series not even half as good as this one. Alice writes so beautifully, engaging me throughout. The characters were so cleverly put together and well thought out, I loved every one of them except of course Ramos, the enemy.

I love the magic and the ethereal-ness in this, the FMC Aria was truly stunning in both writing form and the fan art that I got as a bonus with my trilogy purchase. I love how unique her portal magic is, I love how she can summon beasts (which I will not name as don’t want to spoil) and also protect the Elavon Elven Kingdom from the likes of enemies but being able to manipulate which portals open and which closes.

As for the MMC.. I was encapsulated by him, his deep roaring masculinity that of evil but can see past his enemy facade and into this vulnerable man who has such a strong personality and a vulnerable one too. I loved following Vlynors journey and blossoming throughout this series. NGL I do fancy him, he’s a top fictional character of mine.

As for all the other characters, again I loved them all, their magic being boundless, the protection for Aria was incredible, they’d walk to the ends of the earth for the protection of her and their kingdom, very territorial and very loving.

Please give this authors books a go, because they’re genuinely incredible. ❤️❤️

“Next time I have , Aria, it will be in the skies , for I would allow only the stars to bear witness to my mate’s cries of pleasure.”😈💘

“ The ocean is but a shallow stream without its depth, whereas I wish to drive into your very soul, to learn and love you in a way that beyond any mortal or even realm. I want to know you V; love you.”

Are they pawns in a greater game… or will they claim their own fate?

The winter solstice is near.
Magnerom Fortress has fallen.
The Jaguar King grows desperate.

But enemies don’t always come with teeth.

As Ramos’s forces prepare their final assault and tensions rise among uneasy allies, will the title of Locksnight unite them… or tear them apart?

When gods clash and ancient beasts awaken, can Aria and Vylnor’s fragile love survive the storm?

Destiny is calling.

I’ve been waiting for this final book in the trilogy for months and months and months since I devoured books 1 and 2 in quick succession. It absolutely did not disappoint.

There’s so much action, suspense, emotion and turmoil in the pages of this book that it was difficult to put down. I even chose to miss out on rides at a theme park just so I could continue reading on my kindle! The spice between Aria and Vylnor is hot and I love the growth of their relationship through the book. The touch her and die vibes were plentiful and so swoon-worthy.

If you're looking for a series that gives all of the great adventure of an epic fantasy, with a dash of that "old world" language style, and an endearing romance all wrapped into one....this is a series that you MUST check out!

The Wrath of Stellmorior is the epic conclusion to the Portalis Runes trilogy, and it is action packed!

Full of friendship dynamics that have come full circle since book 1, battle scenes that have your heart racing, and the satisfying end to one of the most distinct "enemies to lovers" tropes that I've ever read.

I continued to enjoy the mid-chapter POV switches, especially as they all added their own edge to the story as well as moved it along.

The writing in this story is refreshing and enjoyable. I would get completely lost while reading and before I knew it, hours had flown by.

I'd definitely recommend this series! (Oh! and there is a grumpy dragon! who doesn't love a grumpy dragon?!)

overall: recommend

This book is the third installment inside The Portalis Runes series, and OH WOW what a finale !

It’s bittersweet seeing this wonderful series come to an end. I’ve absolutely adored all these characters, especially Monroe and Vylnor.

With Ramos’s forces preparing their final assault and mounting tensions brewing amongst the allied forces, will the title of Locksnight be enough to unite Aria’s companions to the fallen Lord of Shadows, or will it seek to divide them?

When the might of deities clash and ancient beasts are raised from their slumbers, can Aria and Vylnor’s newfound love weather the wrath of war and the reckless powers who see fit to interfere?

The Wrath of Stellmorior is the spectacular final instalment from The Portalis Runes fantasy trilogy brought to you by A. G. Brogan.

This story picks right up where we left Aria and her companions. Preparing for their fight against Ramos, and his army.

Watching Aria navigate understanding her magic, and past around Portalis Magic was an absolute page turner.

We get more insight into certain characters backstories, and learn more about who they were before all the corruption.

The romance between Aria and Vylnor as they explore their Mating Bond had me in a fit of happy giggles.

The final showdown between our characters and Ramos was so stressful, and literally had me on the edge of my seat.

I’m SO sad to see this come to an end, because I love all these characters, but I’m so happy to have been part of this reading journey.

High stakes and world-building.
Loyalty + Betrayal + ALL the emotions.
Slowburn payoff (hehe)
A prophecy that finally comes full circle

The battle that the series has built up to happens and the tension is r e a l. You’re left wondering if the gang will actually come out of this one.
We are taken through a legit rollercoaster of emotions.

Lovely end to this fantasy trilogy.

The Wrath of Stellmorior is a brilliant conclusion to a trilogy I’ve absolutely loved from start to finish. The world-building has always given me that perfect mix of Lord of the Rings and D&D vibes; rich, adventurous, and cosy. This third instalment has excellent pacing and kept me on edge, never quite sure how things would turn out. I found myself especially anxious about the fate of my favourites, Aria and Vylnor, which shows just how invested I’ve become in these characters. It’s sad to see this journey come to an end, but what a satisfying finale it has been. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys immersive fantasy with heart and depth.

Three is the magic number and what a magic trilogy this was. This book picks up with the drama and action that draws you in from both book one and book two. I have loved picking this series up and escaping to a new world for a few hours, routing for Aria, Vylnor and Co. Learning more about their back stories and how their paths have led them to this stage in the story.

Now back to reality and trying to find my own Monroe to continue to add the banter and mischief to my life.

Oh my gosh what a gorgeous finish to an absolutely riveting trilogy. The snark and humor and wit is perfect. The development of Vylnor and Aria is captivating. I absolutely love these books and the build from book one to book 3 is sooo well executed. The way Aria transforms from a young lady to fierce warrior woman is beautiful. Altogether a very satisfying trilogy that I continue to think about. I cried and laughed and swooned and everything g in between.

Wow! What a finale! I already loved this series, but this final piece of the trilogy was a masterpiece. It had me utterly enthralled. The romance is so so worth the slow burn, and the final battles are EPIC. Like jump up and down and scream and shout EPIC.

The character arcs are wrapped up beautifully. We also met new characters, which I adored, and the end was so incredibly satisfying. I'm sad to say goodbye to this world.

Now that's a great ending to a great story. As sad as I am that this series has ended, I am equally thrilled to have been on this journey since the beginning. What started as a fantasy book by a new author, soon became a favorite series by one of my favorite authors.
I loved how Alice has concluded all the stories within the story. I was always a fan of villains and our villain did not disappoint. Monroe was charming as always. The book was action packed, the pace was consistently fast and the plot beyond my imagination.
Loved how the relationship between Aria and Vylnor grew throughout this series. Destiny brought them together, but their choices are what kept them together.
And we absolutely love that duo.
As Aria and others walk into the final battle against Ramos and all his evil creatures, it gave me goosebumps. It was so well written.
The past stories of the characters were so well thought.
Loved finding out what made everyone what they are today. Each and every character was extraordinary in this series and deserved the spot that they had. No spoilers, but let me tell you, you are in for a treat.
Kudos to Alice for her imagination, great writing skills and storytelling and for giving us this great series.
