Memories are the foundation of who we are. Some become imprints—etched into the very core of our being.
In the year 2111, identity is managed. After a devastating virus, the Genesis Foundation rebuilt society by classifying every citizen from birth as Rational, Rehabilitated, Forgotten, or Lost. Where you live—and whether you survive—is determined by the label you’re given. District walls separate the clean from the quarantined. Surveillance is constant.
Abra is Rehabilitated—deemed salvageable by the Foundation’s cold algorithms. Haunted by loss and craving something real, she becomes a Rehabilitator for their most controversial Dark Knight Glycerine. But when she collides with the Freethinkers—rebels who reject the system’s psychological chains—she begins to question the drugs, the labels, and even her memories.
Torn between the illusion of safety and the price of truth, Abra must navigate a world of virtual realities, memory manipulation, and whispered resistance. And as the lines between what is real and what is rewritten begin to blur, she’s forced to confront the most dangerous question of
Who was she before they told her who to be?

This book completely pulls you into its world. It has a dystopian society that’s both intense and fascinating. The way Abra blends sci‑fi, romance, and deep emotional themes is just incredible.
The characters feel so real, and I connected with their struggles and relationships on such a personal level. The “twin flame” concept adds such a powerful layer of emotion and connection that really stays with you long after you close the book.
It’s not your typical sci‑fi or romance; it’s a perfect mix that keeps you hooked from start to finish. If you’re looking for a story that’s thought-provoking, heartfelt, and beautifully written, this is it. I can’t wait to dive into the next part of the series!
Wow! First of all, what a freaking ending. But let’s rewind. We are in the not too distant future in this dystopian world. Where so many scary things could legitimately end up.
This book was well balanced between dystopian science fiction and emotionally charged characters that were well developed. I became deeply invested in our FMC, who was balanced between being strong and vulnerable. I really enjoyed this and look forward to the next installment
Frost has created a world that feels chillingly real. The Genesis Foundation, the classifications, the constant surveillance it all mirrors so much of our own society. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The emotional and spiritual layers gave it so much depth. This is speculative fiction at its finest.
