I definitely concur with the idea of ‘value of loneliness. However, some arguments the author raised were contradictory to each other and not very convincing. For instance, ‘trying to appreciate loneliness so as to enjoy even more the ioy of bustling’? That’s not really enjoying being solitude. Readers trying to learn or adopt the ‘lonely’ lifestyle will just have more doubt.
I could not finish after 2 chapters because the arguments were not captivating. I can be comfortable being alone and adapt to enjoy being alone, but the undeniable fact is that no man is an island all the time.
