Seducing the Rabbi: a novel

Rate this book
Linguistics professor Aviva Goldberg takes on a challenge from her two best friends to seduce thirty men in the next year. She's been spinning her wheels somewhat anyway since her cycling geek squeeze, Alan, left town... This is a hilarious novel and far more edgy and intellectual than chick lit.

Ridiculous book about a shallow woman and her slutty quest to sleep with 40 guys in a year. A main character was named Therese, is that the only reason I finished it?

I just started this book last night after meeting the author at the Labor Day Festival in Boulder earlier in the day. All I can say so far is:
1) She made me laugh out loud for the first time in weeks; and
2) I missed my bed time because I didn't want to stop reading.
The descriptions of Boulder are irreverent and absolutely hilarious and so right on. This is one weird town and I'm loving every minute of living here.

yes, people are that weird here - it's a wonderful thing. I suppose I've had my share of similar strange encounters - although not all in one year! Ha!
