Janeiro Terelli is one mouthwatering businessman but boxing him in one category does this sex symbol no justice. With blue optics that would make the sea-god Poseidon envious, a creamy, dark caramel complexion, and defined, toned abs that were chiseled by the gods themselves, he is surely a worthy catch.
Nonetheless, looks can be deceiving. As much as he tries to avoid attention, one little minx slips into his line of sight. Erie Lakes can’t help but admire the quiet and handsome stranger that drifts into her café and lounge. At age twenty-nine, she is on top of the world. With beautiful hazel brown eyes that scream risk taker and a gentle soul, Erie is up for the challenge to get to know the mysterious man. Upon sight, Janeiro seems perfect, but the more time Erie spends with him, she learns he’s a demon under the sheets, and a gun toting bully in the streets.
These two set off on a whirlwind love affair that brings out the snakes instead of making them retreat. Will the secrets Janeiro is keeping damage their newfound love? Will the enemy they share win? Take this rollercoaster ride of flying bullets and air kisses with these characters as they sort the real from the fake.
I don’t expect my characters to speak AAVE constantly or dress a certain way but I’m sorry these characters just did not give black. The story didn’t feel like US, idk if it’s the tone or what but the story just doesn’t feel right. Never in all my years would I describe another black person as mud colored? Then Janeiro’s old ass inner thought just don’t give lmaoo like im sorry you have some trauma but you 40 and doing well financially go see the lady and cut the BS. Something about this writing felt robotic and odd. The writing lacks atmosphere. Dark romance relies on tone: smoky, slow-burning, twisted, and intense. This feels like sitcom banter that got accidentally dropped into a different genre.
A blue-eyed brotha gets me every time. I am so in love with Janeiro. I know there are monsters in this world who prey on women, children, and men. It is sickening. However, you all bring issues to light and showcase how the person affected suffered, healed, and grew.
Ro's, get back was to take care of the people who hurt the innocent. He never thought he was worthy until he met Erie. She was all the good that he needed.
This is a beautifully written book about looking within and truly seeing a person for who they are and not what they present themselves as. Ms. Wynta, I have enjoyed each book that I've read by you.
This writer never ceases to amaze me. This was romantic with just a spin of drama, mystery, and past trauma to spice it up. I loved Erie's and Janerio's slow burn coming together. The forgiveness, acceptance, and no judgment between the two was the right amount to keep the flow of the story interesting.
Janeiro kept true to his word that he would protect his family at all cost.
It was definitely a page turner from cover to the end.
I don’t know if I should have been afraid of Ro or ready for him to sex me! This was a true page-turner for me and couldn’t get anything done until I finished it. Baby…Erie hit the jackpot with Ro. I loved their chemistry and this storyline. Keep rocking arms Tyme with these stories!
This was a fast paced read loved the plot but I did this as an audio and the I didn’t like the he narrator’s accent so it took away from the story for me there were some unanswered questions about the father his former career and his relationship with London also why did they let the brothers behavior go on for so long after the first contract….maybe I will try the digital read

Ro and Belle were everything. He came in and protected her from the very beginning. She came in and immediately gave him something he didn’t know he’d ever receive. This was such a great read. Enzo needs his own book now lol. Maybe 7-10 years from now.
This book was so good. I loved the way Janeiro loved Erie. Their love was so beautiful and then she had triplets to top off their HEA. I couldn't believe her own brother wanted her dead glad we got a chance to find out why
This is my first time reading Wynta Tyme’s work, and it certainly won’t be my last. This story leaves me hungry for more, eager to learn what happens next.
This was perfect 🥰. When I say That wynta tyme don't miss...Janeiro was perfection with trauma and I loved Erie for him. I highly recommend. SPICE LEVEL 💯 🤭💜
