Adam Steven Page is a British author from Sutton, United Kingdom. He began writing in 2015, debuting with his gripping thriller A Victim of the Times. Though born and raised in the UK, Adam chose to write his first novel in an authentic American voice. Set in the fictional U.S. city of Orchard City, the story follows Jack Phoenix — a man haunted by his criminal past and desperate to change for the sake of his terminally ill mother. But with a serial killer terrorizing the city, Jack’s search for redemption becomes a fight for survival.
Adam believes that every great story begins with a strong, well-rounded protagonist. In Jack Phoenix, he created a complex yet relatable anti-hero — and readers have praised the novel for its character depth and fresh perspective on the serial-killer genre. Preferring to write in the first person, Adam explores his characters’ inner worlds in real time, allowing readers to experience every thought and emotion alongside them.
He later expanded the Orchard City universe with Charlie: An Orchard City Short, which delves into the backstory of a supporting character from his debut novel. Adam also launched a new three-part short story series following Detective Frank Hunt, beginning with A Perfect Hunt, available now. The series follows Hunt’s battle with sobriety as he hunts the elusive “Lothario Killer.” The second installment, The Hunt Continues, is currently in development.
Adam plans to return to Jack Phoenix in the future, saying,
“It would be foolish to rush a sequel just for the sake of it. Jack’s next story needs to be something worth waiting for’
