This book offers an angsty second chance at love romance with lots of intrigue and suspense. Cassidy and Bobby are at odds thanks to his stupid mistake three years ago that ended up breaking both of their hearts. Now the army vet is a sheriff’s deputy who has been called on to investigate the death of Cassidy’s uncle and all the suspicious incidents that occurred around her family’s ranch before his death. No one knew that her uncle had ties with the mob or that his affectionate and kind façade hid a greedy monster who would go to any lengths to claim the ranch he thought should belong to him, even if it meant killing his nieces. In any case, his death may not end the family’s ordeal where the mob is concerned. To that end, Bobby is staying at the ranch with Cassidy until they are sure the danger has passed, whether she likes it or not.

The close proximity, heightened the emotions and the stress make it impossible for Cassidy to completely avoid Bobby. Her head tells her not to trust him again, but her heart still belongs to him. Just as they start to make headway in repairing their relationship, Cassidy is kidnapped by the mob as a means to get repayment of her uncle‘s debt. When they authorities move too slow to find and rescue Cassidy, Bobby takes matters into his own hands, putting his career and his own life in jeopardy. It is a race against time to rescue the woman he has ever loved.

I wholeheartedly recommend this thrilling and engrossing book.

Wild Reckoning is an action packed emotional rollercoaster ride full of second chances, kidnapping, trauma, drama, and family. The storyline is intense and succinct. Readers will be so caught up with the characters and the story thry will be unable to put it down. The characters are very likeable and fleshed out you feel like you know them. This book moves at a fast pace but the author entices the reader to keep up. Cassidy was such a strong individual and had so much trauma in her life it was nice that she got her love back. The book hit every note and you will feel all the feels along with the characters. This author truly ejoys her work and you can feel it in every page. Well done.

Wild Reckoning is book 5 of the Wild Romance: Springfield Small Town Romances series. The story was great, heartfelt, slow burn with some heat. The characters were great, likable, and enjoyable to read about. I really enjoyed this book.

What a ride, so good. Second chance for Cassidy and Robby. Full of suspense, anticipation, twists and turns. Vividly written and in a fast paste. I could hardly putt it down. Great characters and a lot of emotions. A rollercoaster ride from beginning to the end.

This is one helluva read from start to finish! Plenty of drama, angst, danger, action, and some really good suspense in this one. The storyline is fantastic; the characters well developed; the plot twists and turns literally have your head spinning; and the HEA — Ohmigod, it’s totally amazing!
