This colour by number book is more artistic than most. Pictures are printed in grey on single sided perforated pages. The instructions recommend coloured pencils as the colour palette does include shading. I easily ignored this and went straight in with markers. Picture took much longer to do than a mainstream colour by number however that's not a bad thing. I totally zenned out colouring in this book and look forward to colouring more pictures plus checking out their other books.
