Benny Jordan is determined to help out his widowed mother and to fulfill her dream of being able to raise her children in the country instead of the city. One day he hears of a man hiring pickers for strawberries, and he eagerly sets out to hunt for a job with the pickers.

A sweet children’s tale that rather made me think of an American version of a Johanna Spyri tale.
