Nach dem Tod ihrer dominanten Mutter wird Elaine immer noch von deren herrischer Stimme verfolgt. Mit einer Therapie versucht sie, ihre Depressionen zu bekämpfen. Quite a slow moving story but I've found this with other novels the author has written too. A bit predictable but there is an unexpected turn near the end.

Overall it's enjoyable and a quick read.
