Duncan Walsh and Ivy Whitmore had a long hard road to HEA with their triplets. Have to admit it got a little campy with three toddlers, grouchy gramps, sick Mom and a few evil work partners.
Best parts were from grouchy gramps..something to the effect of why do my grandkids look like ——- this guy I made promise never to go near my daughter. Cause I just knew he was gonna impregnate and run. But S Somers weaves ridiculous into real meaty story in a way that is entertaining. The last quarter of the book really dragged while trying to wrap up all the random side stories. But the unique hook up locations made for a fun twist

silver fox’s secret triplets

I really wanted to enjoy this like I enjoyed the other book in the series but there was waaaay too many inconsistencies. The timelines don’t match up, when they slept together changes from it was his house to ended up being at a 4th of July party and then it was back to his house, the friend Nick doesn’t make sense, and just other random things. The overall plot would be good but it felt like either the wrong file was uploaded or they just didn’t have an actual editor or beta reader before publishing.

Ivy Whitmore has three-year old triplets named Elena, Sammy and Chrissy. She fled Boston four years ago when she found out she was pregnant at 20 years old. Her father, Bill, calls from Boston and tells her that her mom has cancer and needs her. She packs up the kids to face her past. Her parents are stunned when she arrives with the triplets. Ivy knows that she has a lot of explaining to do since they did not know about the babies.

Duncan Walsh has been close friends with Bill Whitmore for over 20 years. One night, Ivy comes to him to talk. She ends up hitting on him and begs him to break the rules. The night they have together is incredible and ends up with Ivy being pregnant. She leaves town and Duncan has no clue why or that he is a father.

Duncan owns Walsh Strategic and he needs a new personal assistant. The temp agency he uses has a candidate that can start immediately. Ivy Whitmore is the one sent to be Duncan’s assistant. They vow to keep things professional since Ivy needs the job and Duncan needs the help.

It was obvious that there was still chemistry between them. Both of them made mistakes regarding their past encounter. I hoped that everything could be worked out in the end. Another good story in the series.

After a one-night stand with her father’s best friend, Duncan, Ivy finds herself pregnant and promptly skips town, determined to avoid her father’s disappointment. Nearly four years later, she’s forced back home by her mother’s illness, carrying not only the weight of her secret but also three children Duncan doesn’t even know exist. Fate, being the meddlesome matchmaker it is, throws them together again when a new job puts Ivy in Duncan’s orbit, which turns even hotter when he confesses that he’s never stopped thinking about her. However, here’s where my patience wore a little thin. While I could sympathize—somewhat—with Ivy’s initial decision to run, I struggled to stomach her continued hesitation to tell Duncan about his kids. That indecision frustrated me far more than any other flaw she had. My heart broke imagining Duncan’s devastation when he realized he had missed all those first steps, first words, first everything. Interestingly, despite what the blurb might suggest, Duncan isn’t controlling and doesn’t want to “own” Ivy—only to love her and be a father to their children. But let’s be fair: his signals weren’t exactly flashing neon clarity either. Even so, for a man with past heartbreaks, he forgave Ivy with surprising speed, though the charm of those three adorable little humans might have had something to do with it. Naturally, more misunderstandings crop up, threatening to derail them for good, but in the end, they finally do what they should have done from page one: sit down, open up, and talk. While this isn’t my favorite of Sofia’s books (thanks mostly to my frustration with the main characters rather than any flaw in the writing), it still delivers a hefty dose of angst, age-gap drama, and secret-baby tension. If that’s your catnip, this one’s ready and waiting.

You know, I've never been the biggest fan of the secret baby trope, but when I saw that this book took that idea and tripled it, I had to give it a try. Talk about doubling (or in this case, tripling) down. Now, if you had relations with a hot AS billionaire and got pregnant with not one, not two, but three babies simultaneously, would you keep that a secret or tell him immediately? Well, apparently Ivy had made a different decision about that than I would have. This is the 7th book in the Billionaire Baby Daddies series. It's a standalone without cliffhangers. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this story very much. Partly because I was so happy that I wasn't the one having to be a single mother to 3 babies, but due to well written story with engaging characters and all the twists and turns in the story. Oh, and I loved the cover art too. Anyway, the book was paced to move with fantastic spice. Overall, it was a fun read.

Very superficial and contradictory

It's a story.

There were a lot of contradictions in the book. Like how old the toddler kids are and how long she disappeared. Heroine is flakey as heck. She's constantly lying, hiding, and can't make up her mind. She has a best friend from when they were young that is a glorified babysitter the whole time but they don't have that close bond anymore. She asks said bff to watch her secret children so she can go hookup with their father under a tree in her parents backyard. It's a hard pull between immaturity (from both hero and heroine) and a lot of different concepts that seemed to be thrown in together like some Frankenstein book.

Revelation of Three

One night between Duncan and Ivy resulted in decisions that wrecked them in more ways than one. Her return home for family revealed secrets that were the driving plot of this book. It was an emotionally charged story that had moments of excitement, steam and a little bit of drama. However, there were some parts that seemed repetitive and some left unresolved but overall it was an enjoyable story.

Billionaire and the pre-college girl.

Duncan was getting ready to sell off all his control of his business? He had gone thru two or three secretaries in the last few
months. He was tired, disappointed, and told himself he was ready to turn over the reins.
Ivy received a call from her dad. Her Mom was sick. She had stage 3 or 4 Cancer, and was asking for her.
Ivy packed everything she had and went home for the first time in four years. Four years of secrets!!
This book will keep you coming back for more. I couldn't put it down.

Not what I expected.

I usually love a secret baby romance but this one really disappointed me. Even with the age gap she just seemed sooo immature, she kept hiding his kids to the point of lying about them just so her dad didn’t know she slept with his friend. Meanwhile he’s over here falling in love and wanting to risk it all for her. Then he finds out and stomps off while his kids sick? Then we go right back into miss communication. This whole book was just a no for me.

Age is Just a Number When it Comes to Love -
Ivy was anxious about returning home as she had been keeping a secret from her family and she knew it would shake them to the core. Duncan hadn’t gotten over his feelings for Ivy in the years she had been gone, so locking eyes with her when she walked into his office, felt like his world had tilted on its axis. Whilst Ivy tried keeping the father of her children a secret, her parents managed to guess who it was, which caused tension between them.

Even though Ivy wanted to maintain a professional relationship with Duncan whilst they worked together, but their attraction for each other kept growing and led to them embarking on an ongoing dalliance. Unfortunately, not long after Ivy and Duncan settled into their relationship, a couple of incidents occurred that led to the revelation of the secrets they were keeping from each other, which nearly cost them their budding romance.

Luckily, Duncan and Ivy had the opportunity to have a discussion where they cleared up the issues, so they could have a chance at getting the happy future they both deserved. This is a captivating forbidden romance story, An interesting story that highlights the results of a lack of communication situation. The brilliant characters combined with lots of drama, family interference, misunderstandings and the hot steamy encounters ensured I had a wonderful reading experience.

He has been her dad’s best friend for years. They had a one night stand four years ago and she ran. When she comes home to help her mother she brings her three little secrets. The moment he sees them he knows they’re his. Lots to overcome when no one knew about the children.

power of love

Ivy was supposed to be off limits. Ivy knew she should have stayed away from Duncan, however the heart knows what it wants. Ivy wanted Duncan and vice versa. The triplets were unexpected but brought joy to their lives. Family over everything. The power of love…..❤️

She vanished with a secret. He just met it times three.

Three years ago, Ivy disappeared without a word. Now a single mom to triplets, Elena, Chrissy, and Sammy, she returns to Boston when her mother falls ill, walking straight into the office of the one man she hoped to avoid. Duncan, older, powerful, and unknowingly the father of her children, is the only man who ever made her feel seen, and the one she lied to without looking back.

Duncan’s ready to walk away from a high-powered career and a life that stopped meaning anything. But Ivy’s return cracks him open. She’s hiding something, and when the truth finally hits, it’s worse than betrayal, it’s loss. He missed the first years of their lives, but he won’t miss another day.

As trust rebuilds and old wounds resurface, Ivy and Duncan have to decide if the future they never had is still worth fighting for. Grief, loyalty, and forgiveness push them into unfamiliar territory, but their second chance is real. ‍

Ivy grows from a scared and guarded young mother into a woman who finally stands her ground and lets herself be seen. Duncan transforms from a distant, work-driven man into a father who shows up and stays. Their relationship shifts from broken silence to hard-earned connection.

A steamy, forbidden, age gap, secret baby, single mom, second chance romance, exploring love, secrecy, identity, forgiveness, redemption, family, parenthood, trust, emotional growth, and taking risks. It's about what we keep hidden, what we fight for, and how love takes root even after the deepest fracture.

first the blurb isn't accurate. nowhere in this story does he want to own her or control her nor does he realize the kids are his at first glance. so bit misleading.
this was a decent, interesting story, with a lot of emotional upheaval where it seemed like the lead characters couldn't make up their minds what they wanted. and while very true to life as far as emotional reactions to events and how decisions were made that created all the problems i did find both characters to be a bit stupid and immature. Ivy runs away hiding her pregnancy and triplets for 4 yrs until her mothers health forces her home. she has to deal with her parents not knowing about her children nor the father of her child. even after being home for a couple months ivy is still keeping secrets even while rekindling things with duncan. Ivy overheard part of a conversation and instead of confronting Duncan and just asking him straight out she takes off and runs away instead of acting like an adult and facing it head on. Duncan is this mid 40's experienced strong billionaire CEO yet after making the decision to stay and fight for what he wants he doesn't tell ivy about plans he'd been making for 2 yrs or more and seems very wishy washy right to the end on whether he's staying because he's so scared. I get being scared but a CEO of a huge company is used to making decisions firmly and it seemed he was letting fear make him very indecisive which isn't really a quality a man like that would have.
the character development was very good and mostly seemed true to live and believable. In my opinion ppl spending too much time hiding and running in fear assuming what the other wants needs or thinks instead of just being honest and upfront and communicating. these two characters had terrible communication. Ivy was so busy being protecting her pride and hiding her mistake, she cost her children's father 3 yrs with his triplets he can never get back all because she was too immature to face the father she didn't want to disappoint yet was supposed to be mature enough to raise 3 children. so they both ticked me off in this story with their behaviour.

I enjoyed Duncan and Ivy's story. I love how real they seemed; all the characters are well drawn, and Duncan and Ivy's story is an emotional rollercoaster read. It has lots of angst and great chemistry.

Four years ago, she seduced Duncan, her dad's best friend, even though he had promised her dad he would never touch her. When she discovered that she was pregnant, she left town without telling anyone. She had no idea if he wanted children, and she didn't tell her parents, believing they would be disappointed in her.

But she's forced to come home when her mother succumbs to cancer. It's the first time her parents knew she was a mother or that they were grandparents to triplets, triplets who look so much like their father.

What will Duncan do when he discovers that he's a father?.

This wow good but...

I liked this book but it definitely needed another round of editing for consistency sake. They will say it's afternoon but then get a text like it's 9 AM. They also made Duncan the bad guy in every scenerio when he didn't do anything wrong most times. I genuinely think Duncan would have been better off away from that family (except Barbara, I love her). Bill and Ivy are kind of crazy because why is Duncan always apologizing for Ivy's mistake. Makes me angry. I loved the plot hated how Duncan was treated.

This was a great story. We are taken into the lives of Ivy, a single mother of triplets, and Duncan, the father of her babies, whom he knew nothing about because after they spent a steamy night, he threw all the rules out the window at her request, and afterward, it was a mistake for her to leave. Duncan is her father's best friend and a daddy on top of being a daddy to three little babies. She is back in his life, and he is now her boss. As soon as he sees the babies, he knows they are his and will do anything to get her back and keep her and regain control. This time, he cannot fail because he has a lot to fight for.

Duncan is Ivy's father's best friend. They had a night together and she ends up pregnant with triplets and keeps it a secret. She doesn't tell Duncan. Later on when she is back in town, Duncan is super surprised to see her again and even more shocked when he finds out she has three kids. Will he be able to get over her dishonesty with him? Because they are definitely still attracted to one another. This was a good story. I did feel bad for Duncan because he missed out on several years with his three kids. Ivy had some explaining to do and I'm glad she found her way back home.
