This holocaust memoir leaves much unsaid and unexplained. Never the less, it is a powerful story of one woman's experiences, who began her life with parents and seven brothers and sisters. After the war, she was left with one brother and one sister, and a life shattered.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a different look at the holocaust. She lived in the Polish Jewish Ghetto, so it was an interesting perspective on survival outside of the concentration camps, although that was also included.
