This book is really for those scholars involved in translating the Scriptures, especially the Septuagint. But some of the articles are fascinating from the point of view of getting insight into just how difficult it is to translate a document from one language/culture into another. The relationship of the Septuagint to the Hebrew scriptures is explored in many ways relating to translation issues. You need to know a bit about biblical languages and the Septuagint to appreciate the book.
