A remarkable, well designed and executed effort for both historian, and consumer for all things Medieval. Mr. Osborn's (3) three vols set, published by Revelation Insight, is a treasure trove of insights, facts and dates regarding many monumental events. This is a work, which no serious scholar should be without.

Very thought-provoking. It served as the groundwork for the much more recent, "World Lit Only By Fire. "
