Boba Fett was always my favorite as a kid. He just looked cool. I was stoked to see him in his own series. The art was good but I would like more color. The black, white, and red works for some series really well but this wasn't as good. The story was a by the numbers back stabbing bounty hunter tale but Boba gets the last word and plays the game well.
I'm glad it was a whole story and not split into chunks. And I generally liked the gist of the story. But it wasn't particularly well told. And the black white and red element was very underwhelming, kind of random.
Fett finds himself being played by both the empire and rebellion in the hopes of gaining crucial intel. You know what they say, no trust amongst thieves.
I saw this comic on a trip over to my local comic book shop and found the cover to be so striking. I love a limited color pallet and I was just very interested in the visuals that this would have. And I would say that this is a much more visually interesting comic than a compelling story. It is Boba Fett being Boba Fett, bounty hunting and causing trouble. But it is self contained so if you just want a quick little adventure with an interesting art style this will do.
