Mike Graf currently teaches classes in child development and children's literature at Chico State University. Graf has been a TV weathercaster and an elementary school teacher for nine years. A national park fanatic, Graf visits many national parks across the country every year. He lives in Chico, California.

I read this to see if it was something that my nephews or children might enjoy and use as inspiration to record a journal of their trips and vacations. I think the kids will enjoy it.

Ok. Good book to read to/with kids. Some scary, but not too scary, parts for the kids, especially when the family has an encounter with a grizzly bear.
