As my demon hunter heritage emerges, I must face the biggest challenge of my life...
It's early December, and Bran and I are getting ready for Yule, when I get a call from Faron. He's been ousted from his position as king, and his wife was run off the road. Now, he fears that the sheriff believes he had something to do with it.
He asks for our help, and of course Bran and I are immediately ready to help. But beneath all the chaos, I can't help but wonder...what's going to happen now?

Like all of Yasmine's books, this was a delight. Her characters are so real and incredible. They literally feel like found family to me. This book felt so short because I devoured it in nearly one session. I could not put it down. When characters you love are struggling, you can't stop reading!
Not to spoil anything, but I loved the ending because it felt right. Now I need more!
For me this novella is a re-set and I like where the story seems to be going. Ephyra is on track to learn about demon hunting -Grams is amazing! And I like that both Bran and Faron have a role in the future. Looking forward to the next book.
