This was my read aloud assignment book. I think it's very informational for young kids, and it can be very relatable if they live in Ohio. I could even see my college class getting engaged and relating with it a lot! I like how it is geography focused, and includes a variety of geographical elements - land, water, animals, cities and landmarks. This can be really helpful for social studies because it teaches all the elements of geography in a relatable format.

My kids really liked reading about the people, society, and culture in the books. I really like how it's a simple text to read which is perfect for kindergarten on up. The vocabulary words are simple and it helps a lot. This book is really cute and really worth checking out and learning about Ohio.

Loved the book, gave great details about Ohio, and the history of it! The book tells you how things got to the places they are today! After reading Ohio, I learned there are a lot of places that I have not been to, even though I have lived here my whole life!

The Ohio book is about what we will find in the state and what the state's famous things are. Ohio's capital is Columbus and its state tree is the buckeye. The state's bird is the Cardinal and the flower is the carnation. This book is also good for older children in maybe the second grade to learn about all of the different states.
