I've made a career of being invisible. Until I met him.
Alexei Ivanov. The "Ghost" of the dark web. Digital prince of the Ivanov crime empire. Brilliant. Volatile. Irresistible.
Breaking into his systems was supposed to be revenge. Instead, I found an addiction. Each taunt deliberate—digital breadcrumbs leading him straight to me.
He thinks he's hunting me, but I've been hunting him all along.
As our game spills from screens into reality, the electricity between us becomes impossible to ignore. The line between predator and prey blurs with every encounter.
They say never bait a monster unless you're prepared to be devoured.
I'm counting on it.
Hunt me, Alexei. If you can.
Hunt Me is a dark Russian mafia romance and the fourth book in the Beautiful Monsters Series. This dark mafia romance explores themes that may be disturbing to some readers. However, there is no cliffhanger, and the happily-ever-after ending meaning this book can be read as a standalone.
This intense game of cat and mouse, who's hunting who, is fueled by a tantalizing and oh so seductive blend of desire, animosity, raw emotion, drama, unwanted feelings, and steam that pulls you in and quickly has you invested and obsessed. The chemistry and attraction between Alexei and Iris are off the charts and elemental. Both such strong characters, I felt they were beyond perfect for each other.
A cat and mouse story that turns into a partnership and love.
Alexei and Iris's story is unique in that it is a "hacking showdown" in the world of underworld crime. I really liked the change from the usual arranged marriage or the oop's I'm pregnant storyline. This was a very intense, dark mafia story that straddles a delicate line throughout the book, but builds on a relationship of two people who are both individuals who stand above their counterparts. The intensity in the initial cat and mouse segment of the book reeled me in as both characters kept one upping the other. I loved how their minds worked but also grew to like both characters outside of their expertise in the world of hacking. Once they team up, it's a wild ride until the very end of this book.
When Alexei and Iris's relationship shifts to a sexual one you begin to see who both of these characters really are outside of their computer skills. The story reeks of obsession, attraction and chemistry as both characters join forces to hunt the real culprits.
So while I didn't read this series in order, I truly enjoyed this one so will be reading the others as well. This is a dark mafia with high heat, action, breeding kink, and obsession. Alexei has been trying to track down a hacker known as Phantom. The Phantom who is Iris believes that Alexei's family had something to do with the death of her parents so she begins to reek havoc on his family. Once they actually cross paths the tension is more than they can deny. But once Iris finds out the truth, they team up to take down the true culprit. I love how these two find the hacking part as foreplay.
Hunt Me by Bianca Cole isn’t just a dark romance—it’s a full-body experience. A pulse-spiking, nerve-sparking collision of code, obsession, vengeance, and the kind of love that burns through every layer of armor.
From the moment Iris Mitchell slips into the Ivanov system as Phantom, the tension is electric. She’s brilliant, bold, and driven by a grief that has sharpened into purpose. She believes the Ivanovs—kings of the digital underworld—destroyed her family, and she plans to worm her way into their empire one byte at a time.
But she didn’t expect him.
Alexei Ivanov. The Ghost. The digital prince of a crime dynasty. A man carved from ice and fire, logic and violence, brilliance and hunger. A man who speaks like a walking firewall with the soul of a feral wolf. It takes about one page of his POV to understand why Iris—why anyone—would fall into his orbit and never escape.
What begins as a hacker duel becomes a fascination. What becomes fascination turns into obsession. And obsession? It spills into reality with the force of an avalanche.
🔥 The Romance That Shouldn’t Work… But Absolutely Does
For a book steeped in tactical tension and cyber warfare, the romance is shockingly emotional. Alexei’s confessions are raw, vulnerable, and devastating in the best way:
“You’re the first thing I think about when I wake up. The last before I sleep. You’re the chaos I choose. The only variable I never want to solve.”
“I lived my whole life in control—perfect systems, clean code, everything in its place. Then you walked in and shattered every pattern.”
Alexei may be dominant, obsessive, and lethal—but he’s also quietly emotional, almost fragile in the way he lets Iris become his exception.
And Iris, queen of cutting tension with a single line, gives us the perfect reality check:
“That’s terrifyingly poetic for a hacker.”
Their dynamic is everything: predator and prey, equals and enemies, lovers and rivals, two geniuses circling each other with teeth bared and hearts exposed.
💻 A Hacker Love Story… But Make It Ferocious
Alexei begins the story unraveling—exhausted, sleep-deprived, consumed by the nameless hacker slipping into his systems. The mystery of Phantom gnaws at him. Challenges him. Thrills him.
What he doesn’t know is that Phantom is watching him just as closely.
Iris isn’t some timid hacker hiding behind screens. She’s fire. She’s brilliance. And her internal conflict adds incredible depth: how do you fall for a man whose family you believe murdered your parents?
Their attraction is an emotional tug-of-war—her mind pulling back, her body leaning in, his intensity devouring every logical objection she makes.
And when the truth emerges—that the Ivanovs weren’t responsible—her entire arc clicks into place. The moment she lets herself want him feels earned, explosive, and deeply satisfying.
💥 Revenge, But Make It Intimate
One of the most gratifying moments in the entire book?
Alexei helping Iris exact revenge using all the dangerous resources at his disposal.
He doesn’t just stand by her. He arms her. He supports her. He chooses her.
Not because she’s useful, or brilliant, or the perfect match for him—but because he loves her.
It’s primal devotion wrapped in code, violence, and vulnerability.
If you love:
hacker vs hacker cat-and-mouse
obsessive antiheroes who melt only for their match
high-stakes intimacy
vengeance served hot
filthy, tactical smut
a heroine who bites back
…then Hunt Me will consume you.
This isn’t just a romance—it’s a chase written in code and carved into bone. A love story between two predators who realize they were never meant to destroy each other…
They were meant to collide.

Dark, obsessive, tactical, and unexpectedly romantic—this book hooked me instantly.
Hunt Me is the perfect blend of hacker tension, primal obsession, devotion, and filth. The chemistry between Alexi and Iris is explosive from the very first moment they digitally clash, and the tension from their back-and-forth cyber sparring is chef’s kiss. Two hackers falling for each other is already iconic—but two hackers falling for each other even while trying to outsmart the other? Even better.
This book leans hard into erotic elements, and it does not hold back: • breeding kink (no actual pregnancy) • primal elements • praise • degradation • dominance/submission • anal play/sex • begging • spanking • collaring • exhibitionism (guards walking by) • Russian endearment detka (“babe” or “baby”) • tactical smut
Spice is 4/5 for tone and intensity, with the actual smut at a strong 3.5/5—maybe a 4.5/5 just for the feral energy alone. It’s filthy, primal, and possessive, even in high-stakes moments. The devotion underneath is always undeniable in every scene: “She’s mine to protect. Mine to keep safe. Mine to mark as absolutely f—king untouchable.”
Alexi is the perfect mix of dominant, obsessive, brilliant, and quietly emotional. The man talks like a walking firewall and a feral wolf. The romance is shockingly strong considering how tactical the tone can get, and his confessions were everything: “You’re the first thing I think about when I wake up. The last before I sleep. You’re the chaos I choose. The only variable I never want to solve.” “I lived my whole life in control—perfect systems, clean code, everything in its place. Then you walked in and shattered every pattern.”
And Iris, being Iris, cuts the tension perfectly: “That’s terrifyingly poetic for a hacker.”
Iris’s internal conflict adds a thick layer of tension at the start. She genuinely believes the Ivanovs had a hand in her parents’ deaths, so her body and her heart are constantly at war. Her eventual surrender to the obsession between them feels natural, earned, and full of emotional friction.
When she discovers the truth—that the Ivanovs had nothing to do with what happened to her parents—her arc clicks beautifully into place. And Alexi helping her take revenge using his resources? Deeply, deeply satisfying.
This book also handles its tactical tone incredibly well. Some scenes are colder, sharper, more calculated—but it fits perfectly. The only hiccup is a POV jump in chapter 27 (Alexi → Iris with no transition), but otherwise the writing is clean and compelling.
The romance absolutely shines: “I love you. Every maddening, brilliant, dangerous part of you.” “I never thought I’d find peace in chaos… but that’s what you are to me.”
Even the prologue hits hard: “I love you, Alexi Ivanov. Every broken, brilliant piece of you.”
And the dirty talk? Unhinged in the best way: “Going to pump you so full of cum you’ll be dripping for days.” “On your back. Want to see your face when I breed you.” “Made to be my personal f—king breeding stock.”
If you love obsessive men, hacker rivals-to-lovers, primal filth, and romance with real emotional backbone—this book delivers all of it.
The story begins with Alexi unraveling from exhaustion as he tries to track down a hacker known only as Phantom. No matter how deeply he digs, Phantom stays one step ahead, slipping into Ivanov systems like smoke and leaving subtle fingerprints behind for him to find. What Alexi doesn’t realize is that the Phantom, Iris Mitchell, has been watching him as closely as he’s been chasing her.
Their first in-person encounter happens when Iris intentionally approaches him at an MIT café. She sits close enough to watch him working but stays hidden in plain sight, letting him notice her, and then disappearing in a camera glitch she engineered herself. It’s the moment Alexi begins to lose his grip—not because he’s afraid, but because he’s fascinated.
From there, Iris toys with him with the confidence of someone who knows she’s better. She shows up at a gala the Ivanovs are hosting, casually critiques art with him, lets him flirt, and then vanishes again—while simultaneously breaching an offshore server cluster. Alexi not only can’t catch her; he can’t stop thinking about her.
Their digital conversations take the story to another level. They start by swapping threats and layered insults, but the banter gradually becomes charged and intimate, like foreplay written in code. Iris is ruthless in the way she needles him, and she never lets him forget who is in control.
As the truth unfolds, we learn that Iris isn’t attacking the Ivanovs for sport. Her parents were murdered and the case was buried beneath political connections and international deals. The Ivanovs didn’t kill them, but their world touched the cover-up—and that’s enough for Iris. Her mission is both revenge and exposure, a mission she never expected to complicate by developing feelings for the man tasked with stopping her.
Their eventual collision is intense precisely because both of them see it coming. Iris knows Alexi has found her address, and Alexi realizes she let him find it. It’s a turning point in the story, the acknowledgment that neither of them is done with the other, and that something deeper than hatred has taken root. Then we have the twist you see miles away, the Ivanovs aren't responsible for the death of Iris' parents, but the government and they begin to hunt her in order to eliminate the threat.
In the end Alexi saves the day and all end well and HEA.
I was expecting more of this book because it was the last in the series, but it is what it is, which is a 3 stars story.

Captivating read, Russian Bratva are wary of the Irish and there has been a killing of a friend Mikhail is furious why had the security been missing and how had his dearest friend and second father Sergio his lieutenant been killed by a mysterious killer and as he is being interviewed by the press and then he had been contacted by Jack the head of the police department, she called in the murder and had been terrified. There was a video and also a footprint that were also too small to be a man and he had obviously known the killer and where was the missing pizza and why was the reporter of the murder missing and why was the knife mostly clean. Sergio held all the paperwork of the authorisation oh Mikhail had files on those that owed them money and how this information could be used by the Bratva to recoup funds owing and it seemed that the computers had not been touched was his murder something to do with the Irish, it just did not feel like Tristen O’Shaughnessy. Bristol had always known that working in law was a danger but never could she have expected that delivering a pizza to one of her sisters customers could possibly mean her losing her life if the killers managed to track her down. She had known that he was Russian because he had spoken his dying words to her. As soon as Mikhail say the video he knew that the woman had been the bridesmaid he had spent one wonderful night with prior to her disappearing from the room where he had left her sleeping. Now he had to find her so that he could discover what had happened in the house and what had been the final words he saw Sergio speak to her. How could Mikhail ever have envisioned all those years ago when he had nearly lost his life when he rescued the little girl from an explosion, her parents had both thanked him and his last sight had been her father face promising he would do anything if he ever required help as a thankyou for saving their baby girl no matter how many years later. Mikhail had never forgotten the little girl he held in his arms or the face of her father. I guarantee that you will be captivated by this read it is so brilliantly written and you will not be able to put this book down until you reach the end and discover the final outcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Alexei is the youngest of the four Ivanov brothers and the family’s hacker. He is burning out trying to fend off relentless attacks from the elusive Phantom, who always seems one step ahead. Iris, a freelance cybersecurity consultant, is still grieving her parents’ deaths (which she blames on the Ivanovs), and secretly moonlighting as Phantom.
I have to be honest: I struggled with Iris’s character. She often came across as immature, reckless, and surprisingly careless for someone meant to be a brilliant hacker. Her revenge plan felt haphazard and poorly thought through, and her decision making was bizarre. Alexei, on the other hand, was much more compelling - loyal, possessive in a protective way, and genuinely caring, he deserved better.
The timeline also confused me, making the relationship feel a bit instalove and hard to believe - like the fact Iris supposedly thinks his family killed her parents, yet instantly falls into bed with him. Some repetition throughout didn’t help the pacing. I liked the enemies-to-lovers setup, but the execution didn’t quite land for me.
I haven’t read the earlier books in the series and while it didn’t hinder the main plot, there are several returning characters that readers of the series will recognise.

DNF @80% Girl what the heck did this turn into????? I’m literally cackling bc what the heck?? This book started out so strong, but about halfway through nothing was happening and the whole plot revolved around these two just being computer genius’s and just breaking into each others systems back and forth. Like I’m not even joking it happened in at least 7 straight chapters. I honestly could over look how in the entire beginning of the book Iris was this computer genius who was said to be better and smarter than Alexi MULTIPLE TIMES, but then when they got together he all of a sudden was better at computers than her??? Like what? Also her whole kidnapping and everything that happened after honestly just lost me. I’m sorry but things just kept happening and piling up and everything was just nonsense it wasn’t believable. Like your telling me miss iris got shot, but was able to take on the world within 10 hours? Like be so fr. She’s a computer nerd who doesn’t go anywhere, but you’re expecting me to believe that this girl can take a bullet and not be worn out??? And they are supposed to be in the Mafia, but fr don’t act like it whatsoever. Idk I really liked this book in the beginning, but it honestly took a turn for the worst about halfway through. Don’t waste your time!!
This was such a delicious dark, exciting read. This dirty-talking anti-hero will have you squeezing your thighs and blushing hard. Bianca Cole does some kind of magic that pulls you into these pages and gets you invested in these characters and their crazy world. This book was a thrilling ride full of action, revenge, and an intense fast-paced romance.
Iris and Alexi have fun sexy verbal sparring and use hacking as foreplay that had me devouring the pages. Alexi's dirty talk is next-level hot. He's totally like a dark golden retriever that's totally obsessed and likes to stalk her, but Iris is no saint either, and that's what I liked about her. Iris gives as good as she gets.
Beautiful Monsters Book 4 can be read as a standalone though characters are interconnected and spoilers from previous books are given, never have I wanted to go back to read the previous books so fast.
This book had a lot of potential. I liked the plot, I loved how the main characters really matched each other. Both are hackers, Iris is hacking the family she thinks is responsible for her parents murder. It’s a cat and mouse game until they bring the game to real life. I love strong FMCs and Iris is that for sure.
However the kink was way overdone for me, they must’ve used the word “breed” 300 times and then would randomly throw other random kinks in there as well that didn’t make much sense.
Also, one of the chapters says it’s Alexi but switches to Iris halfway through with no warning. I got super confused.
There were some plot holes, like what happened to Maya?…. Real weird she was a big deal as the best friend for a while and then we never see her again after they’re taken.
The romance essentially happens because of them both being hackers and the sexual chemistry. I would’ve liked a bit more depth from them both but overall I gave it two stars for the potential to be honest, otherwise it would’ve been a one.

Great story to end on. Have loved reading about the Ivanov brothers & what a great end with Alexi's story. Alexi has been obsessed trying to find out who the hacker Phantom who keeps getting into his system is but when he discovers who it is he becomes obsessed for a whole different reason. Iris has been obsessed & determined for years to make the Ivanov family pay for killing her parents & hacking Alexi is her way in. When they finally meet there is steam over load & Alexi is already falling for Iris but there's a secret that Iris is hiding. There's sass, secrets, intrigue, pain, steam, family, kidnapping that could see any happy ever after that they both want ending before they get the chance. I've loved reading this series & can't definitely recommend.

Iris is a computer specialist who is infiltrating the Ivanov system which consumes Alexi who manages digital security for the family. Iris attends a charity event where she gains Alexi's attention while executes the dismantling of one of their systems. Alexi tracks down Iris which starts their romantic saga. They are both IT nerds who find they synch perfectly. The plot is wonderfully complex with both Iris and Alexi challenged by government interference. There is a HEA ending without any cliff hangers. I enjoyed the intensity of the attraction between the main characters. You won't want to put your Kindle down.

Hunt Me is a dark, addictive instalment in the Beautiful Monsters series that I couldn’t put down. From the moment Alexei and Iris collide at a fundraiser, their chemistry ignites, sparking a relentless pursuit that blends passion with danger. Bianca masterfully threads a cold, tactical tone through their cyber sparring, breaking the intensity with just enough humor to balance the layered emotional friction. The mix of tension and high‑stakes revenge kept me hooked and held me captive until the very last page. My only criticism is that the plot occasionally feels rushed, leaving me wishing for more depth at certain moments. Still, Hunt Me delivers and it’s absolutely worth adding to your TBR shelf.

An intriguing, suspenseful and steamy read! I feel for Iris who recently traced Alexei's family's hand in her parents' deaths, so keeps breaking in to Alexei's computer systems. I was quickly caught up with Alexei's intrigue on the Phantom's break ins to his computer systems feels like the start of a relationship. So when Iris exposes her presence at the coffee shop where Alexei hangs out, it starts an avalanche between the two drawing one another closer that Alexei hides from his brothers. When the truth of Iris' parents death is revealed, Alexei's family steps up for Iris, but will it be enough to keep her safe? You have to read to find out and don't expect to put the book down until you turn the last page!
I really enjoyed reading Mikhail and Bristol's story, which is the first in this series. Hot and steamy, their chemistry is electric, but trust is something they will both have to earn. With many twists and turns, they both discover that their pasts are connected as the Bratva finds itself under attack from an old enemy, one that almost killed them both years earlier, and also discover betrayal that is closer than they realised. This is definitely a story that is as captivating as it is engaging, it was certainly one that I had to read in one sitting. I look forward to the rest of this series.
Alexei Ivanov the "Ghost" of the dark web and the Ivanov cyber prince has a problem. He's fighting a digital war with an intruder into their system. He quickly becomes obsessed with his digital sparring partner. Iris has her reasons to play with the Ivanov family, she after who killed her parents and wants answers. I love this little cat and mouse game their playing, but the stakes change and become more personal when her body and heart become involved. What happens when she discovers the truth behind her parents' murders? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the fourth & final book in the Beautiful Monsters series. It can definitely be read as a standalone—it’s the only one I’ve read—but then you’ll want to go back for the other three! The series is about the Ivanov brothers & the final single brother, Alexei, is a dark digital architect. He meets his match in Iris, who has been working to take down the Ivanovs in a revenge plot. The story was clever & sexy, with Alexei having a very strong kink he loved to play out. Iris’s very human flaws put her world in mortal danger. Lots of Bratva action. I’ll be reading the other books in the series.
The fourth book in the Beautiful Monsters series of dark mafia romance standalone’s. Alexei Ivanov, is built like sin with a brilliant brain to boot! Iris Mitchell has been taunting him by breaking into the Ivanov system as payback for the accident she’s sure they caused. The one that took everything she loved. But is she wrong in who she blames? Mafia danger ensues, along with a man who becomes obsessed with a Phantom and a woman who falls for the Ghost. Filled with tension, a need for vengeance, explosive chemistry, and the right spice. This book sealed the deal on my purchase of the series!.

Hunt Me is a dark Russian mafia romance and the fourth book in the Beautiful Monsters Series but also this book can be read as a standalone! This dark mafia romance explores themes that may be disturbing to some readers.
However, there is no cliffhanger and a bonus that this dark twisted book does end with a happily-ever-after ending! This book had me gripped and I devoured this book in no time at all! I would highly recommend this book or even the complete Beautiful Monsters Series! Definitely one to be added onto a TBR list!.

Wow, that was a lot and I loved it. Who knew cyber talk could get so hot. A new kink for Alexi he didn’t know he had, but once it started, he latched on and didn’t let go. I have no clue if any of the cyber stuff was correct, I’m assuming the author had help with terminology, but it was done so well. I love these characters. Morally grey alphas with hearts that protect, dominate, and love the fierce women purely. I have truly enjoyed this series. The characters were developed well. The entire story flowed seamlessly and the heat was off the charts and absolutely primal.

This was so good, I loved it… This fourth and final book in the Beautiful Monsters series wraps up the Ivanov Bratva saga with Alexei and Iris’s story. He’s the massively talented digital guardian of their family empire who may have finally met his match. Iris is a Phantom haunting their systems, always one step ahead of him. When he finally catches her, he vows never to let her go… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
It was a good read, premise, ho wever a few inconsistencies. He arrived by Uber on first date, but then had a car. What happened to her best friend after the rescue? Over the top dirty talk (for me) at least. Home degrading her even during sex is not a turn on. And, the mmc letting his soldiers jerkoff to watching them have sex? Commanding them to do it? Sorry. Not believable. Any possessive mafia man... not happening .
