I’m just a proud, self-assured woman, full of dignity, who has been in love with the same woman my entire life — from high school, through university, and into my career. To make things even more complicated, she’s the daughter of the president of the company where I work.
As for her... Pheemanas
A woman who’s always been clear and certain about her own feelings. But... when she decides she’s not interested, that’s the end of it.
The two of us might seem like we’ll never end up together... but trust me, even though one of us is stubborn and the other emotionally closed off, we’re the perfect match in three Kiran’s world, Pheemanas’s world, and our world.
You can always count on MonMaw for a great read! Somewhere Somehow Vol. 2 picks up after the time jump, with Pheem preparing to join her father’s company. This volume is just as captivating and funny as the first. The dynamic between Pheem, Kie, and Pock is a highlight—their banter is a delight and their loyalty shines through. I especially loved seeing Pock get more of her own story. Don’t skip the special chapters—they’re wild and so much fun!
4 stars. Picks up some time after the first book and I think I liked this one just a bit more than book one. The reunion between Kiran and Phee was wonderful and I really enjoyed how light and funny these books are. I will definitely pick up something else by Mon Maw because these were great.
Wow, after reading it and watching the series, I realized the casting was perfect. It’s like they came straight out of the book. Kiran and Pheem had the best possible beginning and the best possible ending. (off: Pok had me laughing so hard)
