I really enjoyed this short sexy story. I love reading about mature couples still keeping it fun and sexy. The end of the story made me smile because I have done that before. Lol
If you're looking for some holiday spice, this is the read for you. Barbara Joe Williams gives you just enough to tease you without going over the top. I sexy short story, indeed.
Short but very sweet :-). It was just enough to get you going but then the story ends...more like an introduction to a really good full length. I will be checking out more from this author.
Short & Sexy! I enjoyed this short sexy story. I definitely want more of Janna & Wave. I was happy to read about a married couple with no drama, just love for one another!
I loved this quick read! The couple was lovable and Janna actually reminded me of myself. Actually, they were very real and relatable. Holiday Hotel is the type of quick read that would light you up and put a smile on your face. Well done!
Quick and to the point. No fan fair just a couple on the road who stops at a hotel. Intercourse or maybe the dream of intercourse occurs. Sleep takes over and Walla magic the story ends.
OMG!!!!!!!!! I could just hurt Ms. Barbara Joe. I was really getting into the story when it ended. It was a cute ending but I wanted more. Sad nut true. Great short read.
Enjoyed this short story...very unpredictable and romantically entertaining. I loved the twist, for a moment I thought some infidelities were about to go down. Thanks for sharing Holiday Hotel 2: A Valentine's Day Story, this read definitely served its purpose for "Love Day" looking forward to reading more and more❤️
After being married for years, sometimes a couple has to take drastic measures to keep the flames burning bright as when they first met. For Janna and Waverly Jones, there freaky comes out at nights in the hotel. The lovers begin their holiday travel with family, headed off for Christmas vacation. With heavy rainfall, they ended up in one of their favorite places, the Hotel. Book one quickly heated and fizzled literally.
Book two was more of the same. Janna and Waverly, both have busy lives and much like any other married couple they need an escape. So off to the motel for a little bump and grind. Janna's always excited to go and spend a little quality time with Waverly. And Waverly well he's obsessed with the new work venture.
Book three: I stepped into an Anniversary story, singing Tony Toni Tone; It's our anniversaryyyy! I just knew with all my being it was about to go down for the count.
Yet when I got to the end. I was like darn. Don't get me wrong the story was good and sensual and I was elated to read of married couples trying to keep their flame from fizzling out. However, the constant repetitions reminding me that Janna was a happily married woman kept me from being shocked at the outcome. I enjoyed them as much as you can enjoy a flash story. These were shorter than short stories but actually longer than flash fiction.
This is the story of Janna and Waverly, who were preparing to take a trip to Savannah, Georgia. Barbara Joe took a story line and provided comfortable snapshots inside the lives of a couple that found an opportunity to kindle a flame on Christmas Eve. It was well-written, well edited and had a very easy flow for the eyes. The ending left an interesting twist, leading into the idea of having more to come. Be prepared to purchase all three short stories to get the full appeal of the journey between the couple.
This is my first read by Barbara Joe Williams and I know it won't be my last, since I have another book written by her on my Kindle.
Holiday Hotel is a fast, smooth read which reminds me that relationships only last if we work to keep them fresh and vibrant.
Janna, a wife of fifteen years is looking forward to a getaway with her spouse, who disappoints her (or so the thinks). She resigns herself to a relaxing evening alone, until her husband turns up and brings the heat with him.
This short story is well-written and piques my interest in what Ms. Williams has come up with for the second installment. If I have any complaint, it's that I would have enjoyed reading more about this couple. Where I come from, when you'd love to have more of something, especially food, it's described as being 'moreish'.
I was so sure that I was going to give this book a 4-star review (of course that changed once I got to the very end). Barbara Joe Williams wrote this short & sexy story that is bound to leave romance readers wanting more. I read this in 15 minutes and I was so involved with the story that it left me wanting more as to what happens during this holiday trip. Great read Barbara!
I LOVED this short story for Barbara Joe Williams. It had just the right amount of HEAT and passion. This short story is classically written and had me wanting to read more about this sensual couple.
This is the first short that I have read from Ms. Williams and I was so happy with it. I highly recommend this story and plan on reading the next 2 in the series!!!
That's what happens when you been married for some time.......you start dreaming about what you want to do with your husband...Mrs Joe excellent Short story
A lot of talking ,a promise of sensual pleasure, more talking about old times and then the couple wakes the next morning with moaning.. It was a tease!
