I have not read this author before but it won't be the last book I click for her.

This is Evan & Karina's story. They are happily married until one day Evan is presented with some information that makes the woman he loves, look guilty of stealing from him. Here is where if you say you love someone and you know they are a good person, your trust in that person has to hold strong and you have to keep on believing, until you find a way to prove your confidence/trust in them is justified!!! Needless to say Evan trust and confidence did not hold strong.

The story is written mostly from Evan's prospective which I really enjoyed because he is the party who does wrong in this story. I love how the author shares his turmoil regarding the decisions he has made with regard to the woman he says he loves.

This story has mystery, intrigue, murder, kidnapping. I absolutely loved this story and enjoyed reading it.

If there were editing issues I did not notice them because the story had me so engrossed! I loved it!

Could Have Been Better

3 Stars for this BWWM suspense romance novel. My all time favorite tropes are a combination two. First, hero doesn’t believe heroine so he kicks her out because he is a short sighted asshole. Second, hero realizes he is a short sighted asshole and he realizes he really messed up so he grovels to win her back. Natasha Anderson is the absolute Queen in this area because she reaches into your chest, pulls out heart and squeezes it till you tap out. Natasha then decides to give you a break and puts the reader or victim (depends on your interpretation) back together again with a HEA. This author had a great premise and I even felt chemistry with the H and H. We just needed more ANGST and PAIN.

What would you do if the one person who vowed to be there for you no matter what turned their back on you. Karina and Evan were married for two years before the unthinkable happened. Evan had proof that Karina had stolen money from his company. Karina denied any wrong doing but Evan didn't believe her. When Evan realizes he may be wrong about his wife, he has a hard road ahead when trying to when Karina's trust and heart again. Can Evan convince Karina to give their marriage another chance, I really enjoyed this story. The only issue I had was the way the story ended. I felt that the story ended abruptly with some parts of the story left hanging. For that reasons, a gave Karina and Evan 4 stars. (Reread)

Karina and Evan by Toni A. Black was published in 2013, so it can be considered as a part of the archives. I was intrigued by the description of the story and enjoyed reading it for the most part. Karina and Evan are passionately, madly in love and have been married for two years. With very little follow-through Evan derails their marriage and tosses Karina out of their home based on an appearance theft of monies on her part. She does not fight or attempt to defend herself; she simply disappears. Months pass and Evan is called to a hospital because Karina has been in a horrific wreck. Evan is dismayed, surprised but low-key happy to have another chance to be with his wife AND her surprise. This new episode in their lives is fraught with suspense and danger. Evan was at fault in this whole saga; he did not do his due diligence and threw the LOVE of his life away so easily. He should have been made to grovel a lot more than he did. Karina was forgiving and a bit too good for him. I enjoyed this author’s writing style and was sorry to see that she only has one more book in her collection.

Love, honor and trust. It's all good, but somewhere along the line someone better slip in communication. Without it and relationship can certainly be doomed before it begins. Making a person forget. Before judging. Shouldn't the one accused be given the benefit of doubt?

Karina and Evan's a love story that causes you to have a firm grip on your kindle. Richly told with enough background on each. You understand and sympathize with each. Being in love and giving yourself over to someone else. It's not easy.
