I went into this blind, and do not regret it. I did have to get a piece of paper and map out who I believed was who.
You’re running from your past, and yet you’re stronger than you have ever been. You accompany your best friend to party at college simply because she asked you to go. You feel eyes on you the entire night; so you step into the woods outside of the property to see who could possibly be watching you. Is it you past finally catching up to you? All you years of training scream to run, and yet you can’t.
You find yourself in isolation in a cabin in the woods with a man you have never seen before. Yet, he seems to know you. He seems to have everything about you memorized. Along with his brothers, all six of them. Yet, as a little time carries on (and the chloroform becomes less important) you realize that things are not always what they appear.
Welcome to the Blood on the Apple. You meet Eira, the avenger who wants people to pay for their crimes; and then you meet the seven deadly sins. You have sloth, gluttony, envy, pride, lust, wrath, and greed. Yet, which brother will capture her heart?
Will it be the one who chased her through the woods, to chloroform her and drag her to the cabin? The brother who is broody and does not speak? The one who wants to add her to his ever growing collection of beautiful things? The one who wears a suit like a coat of armor? Or the one who sets her free?
Come along for this amazing journey where you discover that to truly heal you have to face down your past and step into the spotlight.

Wooooo what a RIDE. The story dives right in with the first pages, showing you just how much of a baddie that Eira is going to be. I mean, skin tight dress and blades? What more could a girl need? Absolutely no fear, and she immediately introduces the MMC(s?) in all their glory. I absolutely loved that each chapter told you the name of the viewpoint you were reading, but with the men, it also associated with one of the seven deadly sins. It made it all the more interesting identifying who was Wrath, who was Glutton, and so forth. It truly set up their personalities and expectations of each character as the story progressed, but Rave was by FAR my favorite. Something about those silent, broody types will get me every time. The writing was phenomenal, and the attention to detail made it so easy for readers like me (I visualize as I read) to play the story out in my head. Honestly though, I have read so much pitch black and splatterpunk without a single concern, buuut that catheter scene? Yeah, that got a flinch out of me. I never flinch, so I was beyond excited to get a book that got a physical reaction! The remaining dark scenes were well detailed too, showing the extent of how far each member of the story is willing to. There was just the right amount of smut! No fade to black scenes, which I appreciated, but the book also wasn't overwhelmingly dirty to the point that it took away from the story. Instead, each scene was sprinkled in just the right place that provided character growth while still giving us that spice we so desire! Now, I have zero triggers while reading, but I can say that this book is not for the faint of heart. The author does well in listing the triggers, but she also takes it a step farther and specifically clarifies before certain scenes what is about to play out. If those specific triggers (more than just torture and murder) will affect you, these parts CAN be skipped. While they provide backstory and logic for each character, scenes involving childhood do not directly have to be read and can instead be glossed over while still getting the gist. Overall, this was incredibly well written and honestly I would read a second book without question about Eira and her... Men? This was a fun ride from start to finish, and it was just a unique take on the "crazy" males that are so often depicted.
ARC review I went into this book pretty much blind, and had no idea what to expect. I know a lot about DID as someone close to me has it, and Rebekah Lynn did a phenomenal job with it. Eira, our FMC, is the right amount of sass, anger, evil, and never letting things break her. I have enjoyed watching her interact with each of the guys and watching her fall for them individually, as well as a whole. Raze.....wrath and unhinged perfectly! I absolutely adore the torturous and protective side of him. Lucian.... prideful, meticulous and over calculated. To serious for me, but still love him Riven....oh that jealousy part is perfect! So possessive too Ash....oh the lust side is real....I lust for him so much! I love his nickname for her 🤣 snow bunny Corwin....the glutton side is there to an absolute T!! I loved the food references mixed with his obsession for Eira Vex.... definitely can see the greed side for him. Noct....oh sweet Noct, where it all began. Our Sloth. My heart absolutely broke non-stop for him. Still is honestly! The ONLY thing I would've like to see, is more of each of these guys stories. I came together very well, and you get to see how each one came about and what Noct went thru. A novella would for each man would be PERFECT!! Vex....the greed
This was my first experience reading a book featuring DID, and I feel as though Rebekah really gave the disorder a much deeper understanding. This was very thought out and methodically written to showcase this disorder in multiple lights!
Eira is a girl who went through so much that should've broken her. That being said, She rose from the ashes and saw that it was ok to open her heart to someone (or someones). She is sassy and defiant and doesn't hold anything back!
Noct, and his “alter brothers,” each bring a different light to the table! Each one perfectly crafted from ruins and sculpted into guardians! What they didn't expect was to add a phenox in the mix of thier protection!
Raze broke me then healed me and will forever hold my heart!
⚠️ This book is heavy on triggers, so please take a moment to review the content warnings before diving in. Your mental health matters always.
This book was absolutely amazing! From the very first chapter, it completely pulled me in, and once I started, it was nearly impossible to put down. Every page left me wondering what would happen next, and that constant sense of suspense made the whole reading experience so addictive. The characters were beautifully crafted and felt so real, and their backstories were not only detailed and engaging but also woven seamlessly into the present-day storyline without ever feeling confusing or overwhelming. It was one of those books that stays with you even after you’ve turned the last page—and honestly, I’m already wishing I could read it again for the first time.
I devoured this book like I was starving. Each persona was absolutely perfect and I just couldn't get enough. The ending was everything that I could have hoped for and I would love to see these characters again in the future. While there is dark subject matter and some may need to check the trigger warnings first, I absolutely recommend this to anyone that feels like giving it a chance.
I hope you guys have your restraints locked in because you are in for a ride! There were times I was confused, happy, mad and sad and sometimes, all at the same time. This was the first book I’ve read involving DID so I didn’t know what to expect, but I absolutely loved it. As the book came to an end, I really didn’t want it to 😂
Rebekah hits it out of the park again. This is the first book I've read with DID. it's actually the most I've come across DID and I felt like it was really genuine and explained well. Eira and the Alters was a beautiful revenge story.
This is my kind of fairytale! I loved everything about this. I grew to adore the characters and their evolution throughout the story. I'd love to see another book with this cast!
I had the opportunity to read an advance copy of Blood on the Apple by Rebekah Lynn, and it exceeded my expectations. I went in knowing nothing about the author or her writing style, and I was completely pulled in. The story delivers a dark, refreshing reimagining of a classic fairy tale, filled with twists that keep the momentum strong from beginning to end. It dives straight into the action without unnecessary filler, which made it even more compelling.
The characters are clearly defined and memorable. Each one has a distinct personality, and you never lose track of who is who. Rave stood out to me in particular—he stays true to his nature while still showing growth through his relationship with the female lead. The author takes familiar elements and reshapes them into something bold, layered, and intense without losing clarity or direction.
What truly elevates the story is the balance between the characters. The dynamic between Eira and the boys feels intentional and well-developed. No one dominates the narrative; instead, they challenge and strengthen one another. Their growth through trauma feels authentic, and the tension in their relationships adds depth without overwhelming the story. The darker tone raises the stakes and enriches the worldbuilding while keeping the plot focused and fast-paced—I finished it in one sitting.
I enjoyed this book so much that I immediately looked for more by the author. If you appreciate darker fairy tale retellings with strong character development and a fresh perspective, this one is absolutely worth reading.
I devoured this book in one go! The characters are completely unhinged dangerous, chaotic, beautifully deranged and somehow that only makes them more impossible to look away from. It’s the kind of madness that seeps under your skin and dares you to enjoy it. The author handles the darkness with care, placing clear trigger warnings before the heavier flashbacks and thoughtfully recapping them in a gentler way for readers who need to skip ahead. The only thing I found of was that the switches from our MMC with DID seemed almost too smooth if that makes any sense. It may have been just the way it read to me but as someone with DID I might have been a bit nit picky but no two systems are the same so there could be a system like this. The romance may rush forward in places, but the intensity, the obsession, the sheer volatility of it all makes the ride wildly addictive from start to finish. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book as there aren’t many books that have some form of representation for DID.
Lucky to receive this as ARC copy and what can I say but 🥵this is only the second book I’ve read from this author and she’s totally hooked me in A dark Snow White retelling soaked in sin and obsession, this story is brutal, seductive, and impossible to stop reading once started.
Eira flees a stepmother only to fall into the arms of a fractured hitman ruled by seven deadly personalities. Each one wants something different from her, and none of it is gentle. Protection feels like possession, and desire burns hot enough to leave scars and I’m totally down for it.
Their chemistry is raw and dangerous, laced with violence and obsessive devotion. This isn’t a fairytale it’s a descent into hunger, control, and a love story forged in blood. Wickedly addictive and oh so bloody good, BRING ON THE SIN !!!
Overall this book keeps you reading. Full of so much twist you want to keep going. DID character is incredibly done. You can tell the personalities apart. Details are not left out. The only two reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars is there was no build up in the beginning…. I would have loved for there to be stalking/ following leading to the night at the party… the quick meet and chase didn’t feel like enough for the intensity. Same with the ending this huge traumatic closure…. Quick I would have loved for Eira to go after Father ( church) too. Draw it out make it slow…. It just felt like a rushed closure . All in all highly enjoyable read, dark, dirty, well done.

I went into this book blind. I DEVOURED IT! This was my first DID(multiple personality disorder) book and I loved every second of it! The way she knows their changes immediately spoke soulmates! I love that they save each other from their pasts! The ending filled my heart and broke it at the same time! Please let there be a second book or an extra chapter release! There is a prequel that I will be reading immediately! I wouldn’t consider this a slow-burn, it is an immediate flame that burns hotter as you keep reading! The intense scenes made me cry. I really felt connected to these characters. ❤️

This was my first experience reading a book featuring DID, and I truly feel like the author handled the representation with care.
Eira is such a strong, independent FMC. Confident, capable, and unwilling to shrink herself for anyone.
Noct, who has his “alter brothers,” is a sensitive smoke show who knows exactly how to handle the fiercely independent Eira. Their dynamic is layered, intense, and so well done.
Raze has my whole heart. 🖤
⚠️ This book is heavy on triggers, so please take a moment to review the content warnings before diving in. Your mental health matters always.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trigger warning for this book first and foremost. This is a pitch black book.
From just the summary I knew this book was going to be intriguing. Our male main character suffers from DID (Dissociative identity disorder). The host Noct has 7 identities. Every single one wants Eira. The writing style, having multiple point of views for each identity was brilliant. The spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. If your able to and are okay with the triggers this dark romance is one to grab 😮💨🔪
I loved this book! The characters are absolutely psycho, but in a way that makes it addicting to read. The author is sensitive to her readers and makes sure that she has trigger warnings before flashbacks to ensure the reader is prepared, but also recaps it in a non triggering way in the next chapter in case someone skips over it all together. I like how they make each other better, although the “romance” seems a bit rushed in parts.
this has been so different to other retellings i have read i was hooked the moment i started i couldnt get enough this book is a must read !!! such a different take u will fall in love with it just like i did it was amazing !!! so glad i was apparent of the ARC for this book couldnt get enough of it Rebekah u did an outstanding job on this and you should be very proud of your baby
Love, Love, Loved IT!!!!! A dark Snow White retelling. There is a wicked stepmom and a fabulous heroine and instead of 7 dwarves, we get seven deadly sins as dissociative identities in the MMC. He’s a hitman that stalks her and she’s the savior he didn’t know he needed. It only takes one call to change their paths and it leads them straight to revenge. They give her the vengeance she wants and she gives them a place to call home.
Let me tell you what, I won’t make this a long post, but this is a book you need to read. In a reading slump, read this! Want a why choose but it’s all one man who has DID. Choose this. Want a badass FMC. Choose this.
Want a sexy man with 7 alters who think you are a gift from the devil himself. Read this.
Noct an Eira, have stollen my heart, and will for awhile.
Oh my stars this book! I knew from the prequel it was going to be such an in depth amazing story and I wasn’t disappointed. From beginning to end I fell in love with each “brother” and Eria. This story taught love, understanding, and acceptance. I am so sad that it’s over I loved everything about this story. 1000/10 will recommend to everyone.
Just wanted to say thank you for the arc I appreciate it so much and now my truth on the book. HOLY Fucking SHIT LOVE LOVE LOVE I fell I live with all boys and they never deserved the trauma ughhh im shedding tears
Oooo mmmm gggg! Rebekah with ANOTHER amazing one! Eira was SUCH a badass babe and I love her sass and strength so much!! The brothers, oh the brothers!! I love the intricate balance they each bring to the table. Seriously so so good!!
