This version is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth 11.

This version of the Bible and more for reading through the whole thing if you are reading the Kindle version. To get somewhere specific in the Kindle version you have to Leaf through every page.

I find the NASB and the NKJV easier to read.

This is an excellent modern book of scripture. It is based on the same manuscripts the KJV was interpreted from so although the language is very readable: If you like the KJV better, this Bible will have that same familiar feel. I have tried the ESV, and it feels foreign and very vague to me. The NIV does not have the reverence for my taste. Each version I'm sure touches everyone differently. This one, although easily readable, speaks with the same voice as the KJV. I absolutely love it.

I have been really put at ease with the beauty of God's word written in an accurate and fresh way. It is a literal translation, so there isn't the interpretation than what you would receive if it was a transliteration of the text (basically when people put the Bible into their own words to make it simpler to understand).
