What is not to love about this book. One of my main complaints about most novels is character development, Not at all the case with this author. I felt I personally knew every character in the book. This is a very detailed but never boring book that brings another world to life. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This young writer of Young Adult fantasy has incredible promise. The characters are well-developed, the plot is anything but predictable and the swirling undercurrents of poetry are nothing short of delightful. The word pictures employed by the author are fresh and profound enough to make you yearn for more. The book is self-contained but could clearly be used as the beginning of a series. I certainly hope that is in the works.
