What's that playful PickleWeasel up to?

There are 101 tricky PickleWeasel picture riddles to have fun figuring out. Some of the words are easy and some are more of a challenge, with clues in every picture. You can "hide" and "reveal" the answers with your very own thumbs, and the words are inverted, for those who pride themselves on their upside-down reading skills.

Story artist JCLittle has created a wacky, zany, super-fabulous and slightly educational collection of PickleWeasels for kids 8 - 12.

Bonus: Flip the corners of the book to see a little animation, just for laffs. PickleWeasel is a jaunty fellow!

Jc little has just written a delightful little puzzle book; featuring her signature creation, the Pickleweasel.
I really like puzzles and there are a lot of them (there are over a hundred of them) all of them are artfully illustrated and fully interactive with the little guy in these wacky scenes in the puzzle. The idea is to figure out the phrase or the word that is germane to the puzzle as to what Pickleweasel is doing.
What I think that what makes it cool it’s interactivity. If a reader get stuck he or she can click an icon to get a hint or if completely stuck click another icon to reveal the answer. In addition there are some really fun little bonus features like popups and a little flipbook feature that has the little guy doing a little jaunt as you turn the pages. Going through book, I found the pages quite fun to look at and puzzles were quite challenging.
Now I am huge fan of Ms. Little’s books. I have them all (and I hope she produces a lot more in the future). My daughter loves them all and I suspect that this book will be no exception. This eBook is available for the iPad and the kindle.

PickleWeasel Picture Riddles is a fun book with adorable and engaging images. My 7-yo loved them and found them fun and eye-catching.

The riddles are fun. Many were simple and some were a little bit brain-busting (admittedly, for me!) but fun to figure out. Some of them were above my daughter's true understanding, which is why the book is geared towards older children. However, I think this book would definitely be a fun stocking stuffer or gag gift for an adult.

I also recommend buying a copy to keep in-hand because I think it's the kind of book your older kids would read through and challenge one another with in the back of the car! And who doesn't love the idea of kids entertaining themselves while you're driving? It's perfect middle school/junior high school humor.

JC Little's work is always inspiring and makes me want to take out a pen and paper and pretend I can draw. I think your kids would feel the same after reading this book.

What a fun book for kids of all ages (even the grown up ones.) The drawings are funny, bright and colourful. The puzzles are challenging but not too difficult, suitable for a clever 6 year old up to a 14 year old tween. I think it will be great for increasing vocabulary in younger readers. The flip animation in the top corner is a charming addition that will appeal to kids, I remember drawing them myself in books as a teenager. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for something unique and all around fun, JC Little brings it with this fun picture riddles book! Its geared toward kids but even I had a blast checking it out with my kids! I recommend both the digital and the hard cover version. A bit of learning and a whole lot of fun! Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Great for 8-12 year olds to tote around and share with friends. Also a wonderful way to introduce the kids to so many historical and pop cultural references -- and in a fun, sometimes satirical way.

I won this book from Goodreads Firstreads.

This is not really a riddle book. Some of the pictures are amusing, but that is as far as I'd go. The "riddles" are vague or not riddles at all. I can't see any child being entertained by this beyond the bright colors.
