Don't know how I managed to get a copy early but I have loved this series for years and am happy to see it being published again. The story line with the pregnancy is always my fav. I have a soft spot for Ramses!
I really enjoyed most of this 3 in 1. Like I have always said this series strengths are Yuri and Nakia. Nakia continues to be unapologetically evil, which I think is fantastic. I especially enjoyed when Yuri took time to remember Tito, Zannanza and Ursula all who are dead because of Nakia. Yuri shines here especially in volume 17 where she is frontline commander. It proves that she is capable and very smart. I love Yuri most when she’s in badass heroine mode and not in romance mode, as I’ve said many times the romance between Yuri and Kail brings this series down for me. This omnibus actually shows Rusafa as a far better man than Kail in my opinion. This would have been 5 stars if not for the whole pregnancy reveal and Yuri pretty much being like well I’m starting a family here who cares about everyone I’ve left behind? It’s all about Kail and the baby. I know it was supposed to be sweet but I disagree. Anyways enough ranting about the romance part of the series. I really enjoyed this omnibus let’s end it at that.
