22-year old UF Law Student, Kelsey, ventures to Madrid, Spain with her sister in-law, Jacqueline, who is intent on having an illicit affair with a past love to get back at Kelsey's brother for cheating on her. Kelsey's job is to ensure that Jacqueline returns back home within a week. But Kelsey is about to get caught up in her own affair to remember when HRH Prince Stephen Lyons shows up unexpectedly and insists that she stay with him at his home in Spain while she waits for Jacqueline. Will Stephen turn the tables on Kelsey and finish what he started and get the revenge that he was seeking against her brother by luring Kelsey into his bed, or is his true agenda to fall in love?
This story picks up right where the last one ended, and Kelsey is taken on an adventure of a lifetime through romantic Spain in the arms of a real Prince.
I was born in Spain and grew up mostly in Europe. My father was in the USAF, which I just love. He was a broadcast journalist in the USAF!
I went to the University of Florida- Go Gators! Hence my book GATOR GIRLS (GO AND GET AT AMAZON BOOKS)
I work as a Financial Analyst and write on the side, but I like to believe it is the other way around because I am always writing stories in my head all day long.
I love my life and think that each day I am blessed more and more.
I do have inner demons that I unleash inside of my books.
I want to live a Norman Rockefeller type of life in Mayberry and watch re-runs of Donna Reed and I Love Lucy all day.
I love working because it gives me creativity and balance.
Finance is one of the most difficult jobs in the world because you constantly have to tell people bad news about money and basically nobody wants to hear bad news when it comes to money. They only want money to rain from the sky daily and the funnel to never turn off.
I work extremely hard and not for the money. I play extremely hard and that is why I work hard.
I LOVE DISNEY WORLD! It is absolutely my favorite place to be... I would live there if I could afford it and I pray that one day can afford it because I am moving in and I will never leave.
2.5 stars. I don’t like the heroine. At. ALL. In fact, I don’t like any of the characters in this book. They are ALL dreadful and should be allowed to wallow in their self inflicted bullshit drama/pain/stupidity.
The heroine is the only POV.
Such. A. Mistake.
She’s a fucking idiot.
Short and Blonde (FUCKING SURPRISE...STRIKE ONE), a virgin (STRIKE TWO), and a complete TSTL, doormat (and...STRIKE THREE).
I hate this type of heroine with a passion. A hatred so intense I generally DNF the moment it’s apparent. But this saga, as terribly as it’s written, I can’t stop reading. I’m off to book 3 in total bewildered glee and I don’t understand it. Like, at all. The writing is seriously shit. The information given was delivered more coherently in this volume, though I still hesitate to call WTF is going on as plot. It’s so bizarre I added a new shelf for this series: “bat-shit-crazy”...I’m sure other books I’ve read could’ve achieved this shelf before, but no other read has impressed me so much with this level of bat-shit-crazy that I was driven to create a shelf for it. That must be why I keep reading.
There are so many triggers with this series that if you have any, don’t read it. Cheating, marriage-on-the-rocks, manho H’s, suicide, dead significant others, crazy OW, mistresses, and lies abound...just to name a few. This is “Dallas” on acid and obviously written while under its influence.
I loved and hated this series in equal measure. It got me hooked from the very beginning. I love all of the characters in the book, even the ones I despised because they were all so human. They each had flaws and made so many mistakes. Stephen and Kelsey both frustrated me to no end with the way that they hurt each other repeatedly. There were so many times that I wanted to just stop reading in frustration, but I picked it back up every time because I had to see if they got their fairytale ending. I love that all of the other characters were so much a part of the storyline as well. My only complaint is that the series was a little drawn out and the twist at the end almost seems rushed to be explained. The editing is not great but easy to overlook with such an engrossing story.
is the only way to describe this story as Kelsey continues to come into herself. She starts to realise how attractive she is, she's learning that she has more than one admirer and they are not all royals. as she heads to Spain to help her brothers wife overcome her own hurt Kelsey finds that she's stronger than she believed herself to be and her journey in Spain is the start....
Gotta say I'm hooked into the series. The author has the unique writing that makes you want to make you keep reading. I love seeing how things are moving and learning more things. The chemistry is just even hotter. You go on a journey in this series and you will feel like part of it.
This was a very good story i was pulled in to the story and feeling like I was looking though the eyes of the characters and all the crazy things that were going on this book was thrilling and erotic
Much better than the first. Of his strange tho that Nora and Jacqueline went to Spain and Jacqueline disappears from the story right off the bat. Not even so much as any type of call of anything......?
Title: The Sensual Induction Author: Kari Nelson Edition: Current Publisher: Amazon Digital Services LLC Source: Gifted from the author for an honest review
Book two did not say anything about her being part angel! I give this novel a higher score because there are no lyrics! Felt good reading the pages without the lyrics. I believe that I became immune to the cursing, though at times, it still makes me uncomfortable. Also, there is no introduction and jumps straight to the moment where book one ended. I still stick to my word of Kari being a fantastic storyteller and I believe that she improved with her writing in this novel.
In this book, Kelsey is in Spain, going on tours, trying on really expensive blue dresses and experiencing more of Stephen. The worst part is that she cannot forget Michael, which makes no sense! She is having fun, away from the stress of her brothers, Tracy and Michael being together, and everything else. I mean I totally get, not wanting to fall for Stephen, but after everything that she’d seen for the past weeks… how can she still be thinking about Michael? Also, Kelsey has opportunities to ask about the name that her brother and father use, but she doesn’t ask, which is confusing me. I would have blurted my questions out and held Stephen by the collar until he would give me the answers.
There are fewer characters in this novel, though the nice Tennessee couple was a great addition to already a diverse character list of Kari’s. Hal’s wife can be a good mother figure for Kelsey. Also, Kelsey is still a Gator girl at heart and hated when her gator nail polish was removed.
Gator Girl could be called ‘Days in the life of Kelsey’. There is no real plot. It is more an account of the thoughts and love aspirations of a young girl as she struggles with the men in her life. She is left confused and uncertain over how to react to her own emotions. The book is laced with explicit sexual content which is guaranteed to raise your blood pressure. As I read Gator Girl I had in the back of my mind the rating I would score the book. I hovered between 3 and 4. This is not my usual read but I put that to one side. We all know sex sells, look at Fifty Shades of Grey. I expect Gator Girl will appeal to a similar reader. I came to the conclusion that any book that holds your interest and demands you turn the page deserves a 4. Gator Girl ticks that box. The ending left me a little deflated. The questions raised were left unanswered. I note this is book 2 so I assume the ending was designed to leave an opening for book 3.
My grandparents moved to Gainesville in the 60's and I was born and raised there until I was 13. Then we moved to Destin but most of my family is still there. Gainesville was once this small town community that students just happen to be around but it is far from that now!! However, I did enjoy the Publix references because come on, there is no other grocery store, just bad knock offs. But about the book, I wanted to slap every single character. I honestly hate them all and I think they are all psychopaths. And yet....I CAN'T STOP READING THIS NONSENSE!!!!
This book is true to its name, it’s smart and downright sexy. I really enjoyed the conversation between the main characters. The adventures of Kelsey and Stephen are worth following as they explore landscapes of Spain. The sexual tension between the two is cleverly handled by the author. If you like bold, sexy book with a good character development then you should give it a try. It takes you to different places with many characters but Stephen and Kelsey always stay at the centre of action. I’d definitely try the other books in the series. A decent read.
So much going on. What to believe? I have to read the next one. I think at times, Kelsea really is about the dumbest person on earth for being the highest score for the BAR in the state of New York. Other times I like her. Still out on Stephen. I think there is more to Phillip. Teddy is one hot messed up guy. I guess this is D R A M A in a whole new screwed up kind of way. The fact everyone knows she's a Royal and mentions this fact, yet she hasn't called her dad? Hmmmm
Solid story with a new adult modern fairy tale feel. The writing is very immediate- you feel like you are in the middle of the scene. Character interaction is dynamic. Some of her arguments with Stephen are engrossing- I like a good fight. Good weekend read.
