ENGLISH REVIEW:
It was a pleasure to read this book. I have always been interested in Buddhism and its philosophy. The benefits of meditation are obvious, but with this book you can go further and learn how our brain and mind work in relation to our external environment and inner world. It deals with a variety of concepts such as wisdom, love, happiness, mindfulness, observation, emotional responses and their biochemical and neurological mechanism, suffering, desire.... Despite the complexity of these topics, the book, written by a psychologist and a neurologist, is written with admirable simplicity, taking care to adequately provide bibliographical references to the studies on which it is based and to be understandable to the reader. It accomplishes the main objective of helping us to know ourselves a little more and to help us to be happier, wiser and more loving.
