Triumph Books Brett Favre: America's Quarterback
Many NFL fans can hardly remember a time when Brett Favre wasn't flinging footballs for the Green Bay Packers. Now in his 16th season with the Packers, and having started more than 240 consecutive games, Favre has done nearly everything that it's possible to do in the game. He is a three-time MVP, a Super Bowl champ and the holder of just about every significant passing record in the NFL. Like Sinatra, Favre has done it all his way. Through controversy, heartbreak and uncertainty, he has remained true to himself and to the people who matter most to him. And his love for the game has never diminished. Author Chuck Carlson takes you inside Brett Favre's remarkable world—from his days growing up in Mississippi to his battles for success in the NFL to his days as the game's best quarterback to his status today as the NFL's elder statesman and ambassador. He remains, as he always has been, one of a kind.

Excellent book, read during today's Packer victory over the Lions. Interesting detailing his entire awesome career, with stories and facts. One funny story told was during the Favre/Holmgren years, in the NFC championship game in 1996, a bitterly cold game at Lambeau, Holmgren's face was all red, yelling at Favre to come to the sideline and as he was talking to Favre, Favre was laughing and Holmgren asked him what was so funny? And Favre said you've got snot frozen to your mustache :). Favre then went back and threw the winning touchdown passs to send them to the Superbowl. A fun read for all Packer Fans !!!
