This is exactly what the title says it is: Ghostbusters II, but in the art-style of the Real Ghostbusters, the animated series that followed the 1984 film.
It plays out almost the same as the movie (some language included) but even includes the deleted scene where Ray is possessed by the spirit of Vigo and crashes the Ecto-1A into a tree.
It's a lot of fun, and a real treat for fans of both the movies and the animated series.
Recommended (if you can get your hands on a copy).
This book was very much a guilty pleasure. I got it back in tbe day at a local comic store and owed the store owner money but because my brother knew him and was friends with him, it wasn't a big deal even if i came back with the remaining amount. I barely remember the TV show but I found this version interesting. This adaptation is well known for having the car scene with Ray that they took out of the movie I'll admit, they could have used a few lines from this in tbe movie to make it better.
