This is a valuable book for anyone considering poker as a way to make a living. Unfortunately the games Mark uses to illustrate his points have disappeared from the scene along with limit poker in general. Still, excellent advice.

Hands down, this book is the definitive guide on how and what you need to do if you want to be a professional poker player.

When people ask me about my poker playing and playing for a living this is the first book I recommend, because not only does it thoroughly cover the subject, but Mark Blade also recommends other books that you need to read in order to be a proficient player.

This is almost a duplicate of a professional poker book from the early 70's. Not as many tips about online play as I would have hoped, however, if you have never read books on the subject, its ok to start with.
