This is the most insane read ever! I gotta have the next book now!
I'm so in love with Killian and Kenzie and freakin love there chemestry, especialy the chapters when they first met, how flipping romantic and cute. Then I get my head spun around with this K guy/voice inside Killian's head and the crazy s#!t he makes him do, I have to know what he is or if Killian's just crazy, the mystery behind it is so intoxicating.

Wow. I just finished this book and the cliffhanger has me needing the next book immediately! This story is so heartbreaking. If you are someone who loves romance books that are dark with a lot of emotions; this is the book for you. It is a three book series and the next book comes out in September, I can’t wait! I absolutely need more of Killian and Kenzie’s story.

This book will give you goosebumps, make you cry, want to scream, make you mad! All the feels! This was so good and I cannot wait to get into book 2.
This book gives you a roller coaster ride and the absolute hell and terror into what the MMC and the FMC has had to live through.
Kenzie has to survive abuse and so much neglect from a very young age and it makes her a fighter, she fighter for what she wants and goes after it.
Killian has lived his entire life fighting the demons that live inside him everyday, until Kenzie literally pops into his life and helps him fight the demon and give him a purpose to keep on going.
This is must read!! Def check your triggers, cause theirs plenty in this book, but if you can get through that, this book is so worth the read.

Where do I even begin when it comes to this one. You have Killian and Kenzie who are the main characters. They meet when they are 14 years old and fall hard for each other from day one. They are both battling issues in there life. Kenzie has had a horrible upbringing with her mom. Killian has a battle with himself by someone he calls K he doesnt know what he is but he overpowers him but Kenzie is the calm to his storm and keeps him level headed. Even though there kids they grow together and go through hard times. Such an amazing read and I cant wait to read book two.

This book…. For starters I walked into a local bookstore and the cover caught my attention. I read the first couple pages and to say it starts off with action doesn’t even begin to explain the ride this book takes you on. At first I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it, but I could not stop reading it. Can’t wait until the next one comes out. Will recommend.

This book was a definite shocker, with twists and components I did not expect, but it was absolutely worth the read. R.M. Edenburn does a terrific job of introducing us to Killian, Kenzie, and the infamous character of K. Through their story, you begin to see the events that shape and define their lives. The writing pulls you into all the passion, heartbreak, and raw emotion these characters endure. While there were moments that left me stunned, the overall journey kept me fully invested. A strong and engaging start that makes me eager to see where Edenburn takes this story next.

This book took me longer to get through, not because it isn’t good (it absolutely is!) but because it’s heavy at times, tackling mental health and other intense topics. It’s one of those stories you occasionally have to set down, take a breath, and return to when you’re ready.
Having been in a relationship with someone struggling with mental illness, parts of this book hit close to home. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re constantly walking on eggshells, unsure where the line or limit is. The way this dynamic is explored here feels raw, authentic, and deeply moving.
Just when I thought I had the story figured out, an unexpected, gut wrenching, taboo twist near the end completely caught me off guard. It added another layer of shock and depth that made this book unforgettable.

I was sent a copy of this book and I am so happy I read it. I really enjoyed this dark romance psychological thriller. There are quite a few parts that could be triggering to some people so please CHECK THE TRIGGERS! I actually really enjoyed the way the chapters were formatted, it was different. This is a story about young adults, but does talk about their young teenage years so keep that in mind too. The spice was spicy. The cliff hanger was dangerous. I can’t wait for book 2 of this saga!

Killian and Mackenzie's story is defitnely chef's kiss! This is a once in a lifetime love story that is so captivating it's hard to put down! The trials and stipulations tha tlife throws at these two is so intense It's almost like the world doesn't want them to together, but yet there truly meant to be soul ties! Killian has his own nightmares and demons that he faces daily, and not to mention when he was placed in prison things didn't get easier for him, it only got worse. When Killian gets out of prison he accidently finds Mackenzie working at a vet clinic. The instant they found eachother they were head over heels, yet again. It was like as if all those years didn't pass them. Learning all the things that Killian did to save Mackenzie without her even knowing is so heart felt and genuine! I loved how the author didn't sugar coat anything and never missed a beat of all the raw real truths about the heart attacks and life struggles.

This book had potential of being a badass book. I loved the story but it did take me until half way through to get into it. I don’t DNF books and I’m glad I didn’t start with this one lol. I personally felt it took too long for us to find out the back story the MMC Killian. A lot of time was spent on what they were doing present time.
I will say the author did a great job at getting you to feel the emotions of what Killian and Kenzie were feeling. I wanted to reach into the books and give them hugs and cry with them.
I did have one word that I felt was used way too much by the FMC and that is when Kenzie was calling Killian “bay”. That had my skin crawling every time I saw that word

The very first line of the book HOOKS you in. For new readers: you’d be questioning everything. I kept asking myself, who is K? Right in the beginning so I kept turning the pages. The author does something unique by going right into chapter fiftyish. I can’t wait to piece it all together for book two! This was really unique.
